Journey
Into Imagination with Figment Brings Popular Purple Dragon Back
Figment is back! The playful purple dragon who captured millions of hearts
at Walt Disney World Resort returns to Epcot in June to once again
demonstrate the power of imagination. Journey Into Imagination with Figment
invites guests to an open house at the Imagination Institute led by Dr.
Nigel Channing, who plans to show how the five senses can influence a
person’s imagination. The revamped attraction also heralds the return of
“One Little Spark,” an uplifting song written by legendary Disney composers
Richard M. and Robert B. Sherman for the attraction’s original opening in
March 1983.

Fort Wilderness
Transportation Test
Intercot's own WDWdriver reports a transportation test currently underway at
Fort Wilderness. For the time being, the Chip and Dale busses and the
Crocketts and Boones are gone, replaced by an internal color coding system
designed to help campers travel internally throughout the campground.
Campers may now choose a bus that will take them directly to their Fort
Wilderness destination, including a bus depot to the major parks.

Port
Orleans Comes Back To Life!
According to a local news report, due to strong demand, Port Orleans French
Quarter has begun allowing guests to book rooms for arrivals on or after May
31, 2002. Disney will reopen the resort at that time and have all facilities
and amenities operating. During the resort's "time off", reports say the
food court has apparently been rehabbed.
