Disney Parks Teams with Verizon Wireless
Disney Parks teams
with Verizon to bring unprecedented new wireless phone experiences to guests
at Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Planned services include an exclusive mobile application that will give
guests with Verizon service the ability to easily locate shows, restaurants
and the Disney characters anywhere inside the Parks, get real-time
attraction availability information, access mobile games, receive messages
from characters and more.

Pirate & Princess Party Returns in 2009
Due to the
popularity of the Pirate & Princess Party, the event is returning in 2009.
Guests can embark on a quest for beads and chocolate treasures, be witness
to a Pirate and Princess parade, character greetings, fireworks spectacular
and some of the most popular attractions. Experience Pirate Coves and
Princess Courts filled with treasures and special themed entertainment. The
party will be held on 15 select nights beginning in February.

2008 Festival of the Masters
November 7-8
Pictured right is a
piece of artwork created for the 2008 Festival of the Masters art festival.
Downtown Disney becomes the backdrop for more than 150 artisans displaying
original creations during the 33rd annual Festival of the Masters, November
7-9, 2008. The festival, presented by Sharpie, is a nationally recognized
art show which is ranked among the country’s best outdoor art festivals each
year. Festival hours are 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. each day. Admission is
