World Resort Celebrates the Official Opening of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Walt
Disney World Resort is celebrating the completion of New Fantasyland with
the official opening today of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Phil Holmes, vice
president of Magic Kingdom Park, welcomed park guests and community leaders
to officially open the new attraction.
As the crowning jewel of New Fantasyland – the largest expansion in the
history of Magic Kingdom – the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a rocking,
rollicking family-style coaster that immerses guests in the lovable world of
Sleepy, Doc, Grumpy, Bashful, Sneezy, Happy and Dopey. Inspired by the
classic Disney-animated film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” the
attraction sends riders on a playful musical adventure into the mine “where
a million diamonds shine.”

discover your power," and introduces the hashtag #LetTheWookieeWin. Where

almost here! Magic Kingdom Park is going to stay open from 6 a.m. Friday,
May 23, until 6 a.m. Saturday, May 24, so you can Rock Your Disney Side for
24 straight hours! Throughout this mega Disney day, all your usual favorite
characters and shows will be available, and we’ve also planned some special
entertainment experiences for you
2014 'Eat to the Beat'
Concert Series Lineup Announced
Walt
Disney World has announced the lineup for the popular 'Eat to the Beat'
Concert Series, which takes place annually during the Epcot Food & Wine
Festival. Along with returning favorites Boyz II Men and Big Bad Voodoo
Daddy, new acts include Fuel, Jo Dee Messina and Los Lonely Boys. The
festival has added an additional two weeks this year, and runs from
September 9-November 14.
Our
own Christine Warner has accepted the challenge and will be tackling 4 Parks
in 1 Day beginning tonight at 6pm. You can follow along with her on any one
of our social media outlets and request she take photos or video of
something in the park. Plus, if you are in the parks and spot her, she'll be
giving away Blinky Bracelets while supplies last - and who doesn't love free
stuff!

Name - Undergoing Complete Re-Imagining
New Polynesian Village Resort Signage
One of the
most iconic Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Disney’s Polynesian Resort,
will undergo a complete re-imagining! The sweeping renovation includes a
new food & beverage experience – Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto – a new lobby,
and the resort hotel is returning to its original, 1971 opening day name:
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Not So Scary Halloween Party" and "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party"
dates have been released. These are hard ticket events. Guests must purchase
separate admission to attend. Walt Disney World limits the number of tickets
sold in order to keep the crowds down and many dates sell out in advance.

Walt Disney Parks and
Resorts Chairman Tom Staggs joined Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on stage
for the dedication. The attraction will officially open to guests on May 28.
As part of the Seven
Dwarfs Mine Train Press Event - Disney held a look at the current state of
Walt Disney World and coming attractions called "Around Our World". This is
the presentation in it's entirety.
