Inspired by coastal New England vacation resorts of the late 1800's, the Beach Club (and its sister, Yacht Club) is set along Crescent Lake, just behind Epcot. Within walking distance of Epcot and Disney's Boardwalk, the sister resorts house around 1,200 spacious rooms.

The Beach Club lies just beyond Epcot's International Gateway. Exuding a fun and carefree vibe, with a touch of elegance, the Beach Club is highly popular with families, especially. A white sand beach invites guests to stroll along the lake shore, take a swing, or relax in a hammock or lounge chair. Hosting a character breakfast, the Cape May Cafe keeps the lobby busy with activity every morning. In the evenings, the restaurant hosts a traditional New England Clam Bake.

This resort offers one of the most popular pools in all of Walt Disney World, Stormalong Bay. The pool includes sandy bottoms, water jets that bubble up around you, a lazy river, a sandbar play area, and quicksand like areas, where you seem to sink into the bottom of the pool. It also has an incredible waterslide that flows out of an old shipwreck. If you can manage to pull yourself away from  the pool, the resort offers boat and bike rentals for extra fun. The Beach Club has a wonderful location, within walking distance of four other hotels and two theme parks. Numerous dining and entertainment opportunities are just a short stroll away. What can I expect to pay for a room?
Room rates range from $356-662 per night. Club Level rooms range from $557-$1,053 per night. Rates vary based on season and are higher on weekends and holidays.  

Rooms at the Beach Club received a refurbishment of all hard and soft goods in 2015. Furnishings are classy, elegant, and use blues and tans to convey the beach motif. Rooms can have Standard, Garden, or Water (Pool or Lake) Views. Most rooms sleep 5 with a daybed, others sleep only 4. Club Level rooms are all located on the 5th floor. Deluxe Rooms and Suites are also available and are scattered throughout the resort.

Size of Rooms: 400 square feet. Deluxe rooms are 520 square feet.

Number of beds: Two queen sized beds or one king bed. Some rooms have a daybed. Accessible rooms are available. Deluxe Rooms have two queen beds and a daybed.

Features of Room: Free Wi-Fi, nightstand, desk/table with chair, dresser, TV,  small safe, refrigerator, closet, ceiling fan, iron and ironing board, pack and play, hair dryer, make-up mirror and coffee maker.

Bathroom: Double marble sinks in a vanity area separate from the tub and toilet

Balcony: Most rooms have a balcony. Some are larger than others. Some balconies are standing room only balconies. Some rooms have no balcony. If a balcony is important to you, request one. Ground floor rooms have patios.

Occupancy: Some rooms offer a daybed with a maximum five-person occupancy per room. If there are more than 2 adults in a room, there is an additional charge of $25 per adult, per night.

Suites: 4 different types of suites are available.

Club Level: Club Level rooms are located on the 5th floor and are accessible with a room key card. In addition to the amenities of standard rooms, these rooms includes robes, DVD players, deluxe turndown service, continental breakfast, afternoon snacks, and evening hors d'oeuvres and desserts with wine and cordials. Beach Club Marketplace This combination gift shop/quick service spot serves hot and cold breakfast items, pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, and a variety of snacks. A refrigerator/freezer section offers grab and go items as well as groceries. Hours: 7:00AM-12:00AM
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop  A quaint, classic soda fountain. Specialties include burgers, soups, sandwiches, milkshakes, and ice cream treats. Try the famous Kitchen Sink, if you dare! Hours: Lunch 11:00AM-4:55PM Dinner 5:00PM-11:00PM
Hurricane Hanna's Waterside Bar & Grill Accessible from inside the pool area as well as the path outside. This spot serves up delicious burgers, hot dogs, salads & sandwiches. A full bar is available, serving specialty mixed drinks, frozen blended concoctions, beer and wine.  Hours: 11:00AM-11:00PM
Martha's Vineyard Featuring domestic & international wines Hours: 4:00PM - Midnight

Recreation:

Swimming: The main pool, Stormalong Bay, is shared with the Yacht Club resort. The pool features sandy bottoms, water jets, and a waterslide that flows out of an old shipwreck. On the back of the ship is a shallow pool with a slide that is perfect for kids. The pool is divided into three diferent sections, each with its own unique water features.

The slide is closest to the Beach Club and the sand bar play area is closer to the Yacht Club. The center section houses the lazy river, which is quite deep at 8ft. Resort ID in the form of a room key or magic band is required for ALL guests who enter the pool area. Lifeguards will check ID and issue paper wristbands upon entry to the pool. Towels are available from these lifeguards as well. Inner tubes and pool noodles may be rented at the stand near the center of the pool. Life jackets for kids are complimentary.

There is a quiet pool at the Beach Club, located near the end of the resort closest to Epcot.

Playground:  A playground is located near Stormalong Bay.

Games: The Lafferty Place Arcade is located next to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop.

Fitness: Ship Shape Health Club features a selection of cardio machines and weight training equipment .. as well as

Paths for walking and jogging, including a beautiful 3 mile loop around Crescent Lake and towards Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Boat and bike rentals: available at the Bayside Marina: Pontoons, Boston Whaler Montauk, Sea Raycers, and more. 

Fishing excursions, Tennis and Volleyball courts are also offered.

Boats: Friendship launch to Disney's Hollywood Studios & Epcot.

Bus: Bus transportation is available to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Water parks, and Disney Springs.

Walk: A short five to ten minute walk to Epcot's International Gateway. You can also walk to the Studios, Swan, Dolphin and Disney's BoardWalk.
