Disney's Wilderness Lodge sits among tall timber and magnificent wildflowers continuing the grand tradition of 19th century National Park Lodges.The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge opened on November 15, 2000. Like the Boardwalk Villas, the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are integrated into the hotel portion of the Wilderness Lodge. The Villas are located in a separate wing, adjacent to the lodge and accessible via a covered walkway. The Villas building contains the resort's fitness center and a cozy lobby with a collection of train memorabilia. The Iron Spike Room is home to some of Walt Disney's model trains, as well as photographs and artwork featuring trains. There is a fireplace and comfortable seating here as well, which makes it an ideal nook for relaxing.  

Guests at the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge check in at the main Lodge building. The Villas has its own pool, although guests may use the feature pool at the Lodge as well. All amenities, recreation, and dining will be found at the Wilderness Lodge. There is a small BBQ pit located near the villas pool. The bus stop is located conveniently close to the Villas wing.

COMING SOON: Disney recently announced an expansion to this DVC location. Plans call for the construction of 26 new waterfront cabins on the shore of Bay Lake. These cabins will be one story and likely very similar in layout to the bungalows at the Polynesian Villas. In addition to the cabins, there are plans for a new pool, possibly a community hall, and a new waterfront restaurant. A timeline has not been released officially, but we expect these renovations to be completed sometime in 2017.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is currently undergoing a transformation! You may see or hear work in progress while we create new magic—including enhancements to Hidden Springs Pool, which will be closed from November 2, 2015 through 2017. Certain pathways and other areas will also be closed during construction, beginning in early November 2015.

Swimming: Hidden Springs Pool is located behind the villas wing. There is a spa here as well. Towels are available poolside.

Transportation:
Guests at the Villas will use the transportation available at the Wilderness Lodge.

Check In/Out:
Check in time is 4:00 PM. Check out time is 11:00 AM.

Accommodations:
Villas are located in a wing separate from the main lodge. Villas may have a view of a parking lot, woods, or pool. Specific views cannot be booked, although they can be requested.

Studio
The Studio Vacation Homes have one queen-size bed, a double-size sleep sofa, and a twin sized pull down bed. These units also contain a wet bar with an under-counter refrigerator, a microwave oven and a coffee maker. Each studio unit has a private porch or balcony. The studio vacation homes sleep up to five guests.

The 2-bedroom villas sleep a total of nine people.
