Step back in time to a place you can only find in your imagination.  Main Street USA is the gateway to the magic that lies inside Walt Disney World. Shops, dining and refreshments line the way toward Cinderella Castle at the end of Main Street. Modeled after Walt's idyllic boyhood home of Marceline, Missouri, this place bustles with life with all the accoutrements of yesteryear including horse drawn trolleys, old fashioned cars and more. There's even an authentic Barber Shop. At night, Main Street is the gathering point for Wishes Nighttime Fireworks Spectacular. Disney has, in the past few years, homogenized this area a bit by getting rid of some of the unique attractions that used to live here (Main Street Cinema, Penny Arcade, The Magic Shop and the like) and replaced them with retail space. Still, much of the charm remains. Recently expanded with additional lawn space, the Main Street hub is a relaxing place to sit down and people watch. At night, it provides additional standing room for fireworks viewing.
