It was 5 1/2 hours of fantastic food, not a single course was short of fantastic. Some of them were more to my liking than others (I preferred the elk to the chicken, for example), but everything had...

The point of this trip was the enjoy dinner with friends at Victoria & Albert's, dates based on crowd levels and some unrelated family events going on in Tampa.
Different trip for us: shorter (5...

We got a pin code last year that was tied to our annual passes, 40% off the room if I remember right.
There's a lot of discussion about what puts you "on a list" for a code. Obviously being AP...

Beach Club
Good: The pool, easy access to Epcot and DHS, close to the Boardwalk nightlife. Lots of good nearby dining options.
Bad: Seemingly never ending, twisting hallways.
Polynesian
Good:...

We've stayed at both in the last 2 years.
As you probably noticed, both are the style that has the main building, and detached buildings on the grounds. I prefer this style to the "all in one"...

I agree with everything DreamFinder2 says here. The bus transportation is a little frustrating, but the hotel itself is great... some great restaurants in there, too.

My wife and I do the afternoon tea as a late lunch/early dinner. Last time, she got the newer "Princess Kate Tea" and I got my usual "Prince Edward's Tea."
Each spread is enough to get us through...

Since you're on the DDP, I think one table service credit for character interaction is a good-enough deal.
Both the breakfasts at the Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's are enjoyable and varied, it...

Up to you, of course, but I would consider a signature meal. We like California Grill, Jiko, Citricos...
You might also look at Tokyo Dining for a late lunch.

The WDW Today podcast went on a rant today about how expensive character dining is and what a bad value it represents.
Since a character buffet like Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare are one table...

Victora & Albert's... the wine there is serious business, as is the food. It's about as special as it gets. Be sure to tell them it's an anniversary so it can be printed on your menus.
As far as...

If memory serves, my Disney travel agent has had some trouble from time to time with reservations not "being opened" for a date right at the 180 day mark. No real rhyme or reason to it.
You...

When we were on the dining plan, it was Food & Wine season, so snacks were used at the festival kiosks.
The cheese plate from Ireland, lamb sliders (I think from Australia), Japanese sushi (ok,...

Victoria & Albert's x3 (including once in the QVR)
...and once more this coming Feb' (at the Chef's Table, can't wait!)
It sounds stupid, but V&A is an exceptional value for this level of dining....

Sanaa and Grand Floridian Cafe are two of my favorite 1 credit places.
For two credits, California Grill or Le Cellier.
Don't overlook Tokyo Dining, either... surprisingly good.

It's dinnertime... so we're off to Cali' Grill for the amazing pork tenderloin and fettuccine with mushrooms.
-
We were there for a late lunch in early October, hoping it would be empty and we could get a nice quiet table by the window.
It didn't work out that way. The place is pretty popular, and for good...

We enjoyed the pork tenderloin and wild mushroom fettuccine entrees our last trip out.
I totally agree, delicious! The mushrooms especially.

We've eaten there twice, years ago. We enjoyed it for dinner, not for lunch.
They've updated the menu since we last went. Looking over the new menu, it looks interesting enough... I'd try it.
-
If fine dining is your thing, V&A is in a different league from Cali Grill, Napa Rose, and Jiko.
Seriously, it's not even close. Just a totally different level of everything.

Mama Melrose can be hit and miss. The first time we went for dinner it was great, second time, lunch was bad.
I'd try it again for dinner.
Sci-Fi... fun atmosphere, but you've got to have the...

We ate dinner there about a week ago, and I would recommend it... very good all around. I had the NY Strip, my wife had the filet... both were top notch.
I can't speak to lunch.

Here's a photo of the view from the Grand, but it doesn't really do it justice:

Two annual pass adults, no kids, budget of $6,000 plus a couple hundred in credit card rewards. Total came to about $4,000 including shopping and airfare.
We'd gotten a 40% off pin code, so we...

Has anyone tried the breakfast at Kouzzina? The menu looks WAY fun, but I won't be able to get there until next Feb'.
I haven't been there for 15 years or so, but the Whispering Canyon Cafe in the...
