I was just pointing out that it's not a hurricane issue. All was well just a few days after they opened back up.
-
The Beach House wasn't closed when we were there in November, just a few weeks after the hurricane, so if it's closed, that must be scheduled maintenance. Seems about right for this time of year.
-
WDW Marathon Weekend starts that Wednesday though. It brings in a lot of people. It's certainly not holiday crowded, but there won't be a big drop off in crowds.

Completely agree. I've never understood complaints about walking at any Disney property. It's Disney, it's spread out, you gotta walk.

The walk from Paradise Pier is easy and fun, and not much further than both DLH and GCH. If you're going to compare with the walking you do at WDW, it's nothing.
-
Yep, Michael is correct. Definitely me.

We weren't talking about Trader Sam's. We were discussing Jungle Navigation Co new menu.
-
From what I'm learning on various DVC pages, Food & Wine is the most popular time for DVCers to go to WDW.

I think what turns me off about the Jungle Book show is that it's well, the Jungle Book. I don't have anything really against the Jungle Book, but for a big 'nighttime spectacular' as this is being...
-
The changes made to resale contracts in 2011, I believe, disallowed using DVC points for Disney cruises and regular Disney hotel rooms (which I think is called the Disney Collection.) I purchased...

Oh! It's only for the anniversary year? Why am I not surprised? I just assumed it was permanent. Should have known better.

There are no grad nights at WDW anymore.
-
I second Linda's suggestion of the Carthay Circle package. But really, the best way for me to see WoC is from a theme park view room at the Grand Californian Villas. ;)

This is an old thread! Sprinkles just opened, yes. Baby Cakes is still there though (across from Raglan Road) as far as I know.

Love it! Gorgeous resort, with many deluxe amenities, like Christine mentioned. We've stayed there more times than I can remember. Now that we've bought DVC, I'm actually a
little sad our stays...
-
Such a popular resort, and that's something I'll never understand. lol I'll stick with Coronado in the moderate range.
-
Insane, therefore not worth it IMO. Glad I've been many times in the past.
-
And the bass player from Mulch, Sweat and Shears.
-
The Mickey Mouse Revue! Ewww. Sorry, a little cringeworthy for me, having last saw it in Tokyo, with the aforementioned Donald, Panchito and Jose speaking Japanese. [emoji23] But, having said that, I...
-
Trinidad South is the furthest away from Old Port Royale (where the food court, main pool, gift shop, etc. are). It was actually quite genius for them to covert that section, because I'm sure that...
-
EXACTLY what I was going to say. Ridiculous.
-
Over saturation! That's how I honestly feel. And with that, my wallet breathes a sigh of relief.

We were similarly chastised at Disneyland at the Grand Californian hot tub. It's a no-no to have drinks at the hot tub.
