As you can tell by my username, POTC has always been our family favorite. We are the ones that scoff at amateurs who only know the 'yo ho' line of our classic anthem. ;) After many years of sons and...

Limited answer...No experience with Star Island. Put family in Cypress during a wedding. They liked it.

Saw that these are now available in the parks. Has anyone seen them, perhaps at Emporium? If so, could you tell me the price. Thanks!

You are preaching to the choir here...have lived all over the world but Fayetteville was always home since attending the UofA and was thrilled when we were able to return here to raise our kids and...

From another who never met her but has been touched by her story. Prayers for the peace that passes all understanding.

COP forever! And please leave the 2 left shoes on Dad; always something fun to point out to new Disney visitors.

Trying to decide the best schedule for a BBB/Princess day. Does anyone have strong opinion about lunch vs. dinner in Norway?
Thanks

We did the DS breakfast and, while we enjoyed taking photos without many people around it did NOT give us much of a jump on the crowd since they allowed everyone to enter the park and advance as far...

This may belong elsewhere. DD will be in Orlando this summer when our family plans a trip to the UK. Is it possible for her to get a round trip on one of the British airlines that fly into Sanford...

Dissenting voice here, slightly, since I'm part of the station wagon generation. Flying would still be my preference IF it is non-stop and reasonably priced. Otherwise, assuming your children can...

Only place I've ever encountered rude server re. splitting meals was actually at Prime Time Diner. We were traveling with another family; they were on a very limited budget and were already...

We like this resort a lot. The boat ride to French Quarter/Downtown Disney is a nice bonus. Kids love the pool area and liked the "pool hopping" option with POFQ.

? about the original post. By the "gates" did you mean one of the entrances to WDW or the Contemporary gate? I've seen patrol cars on property but never parked at the gates of
a resort.

Any way to save on Ice tickets?
Is adding "Snow" worth the $?
My 85 year old Dad likes music shows. Any reviews of these at Gaylord Palms?
Thanks!

Encourage your friend to avoid the extra magic hours parks each day since they will not be on property. My boys always loved the Lego area at Downtown Disney.:mickey:

Don't know if they will have a special menu for Thanksgiving but we like the Grand Floridian Cafe and can usually get a ressie there.

It took us years to get around to doing the tour. Our daughter finally pushed us to take it our last morning at WDW and we ended up buying. :mickey: Having experienced plenty of fast talking pushy...

Lucky girl. It's a Win-Win-Win situation. I think it's nitpicking to find things wrong with any of the monorail resorts. I am glad, though, that we've been able to experience all of them. So if...

Haven't been on Intercot for awhile. Always enjoyed your posts and appreciated your insights. Sorry you are no longer there.

Hi Ho Everyone. Thinking of taking my 85 year old parents to DHS just before Thanksgiving. (Nov. 21,22,23) Will probably stay off site as a vacation home will suit my Mom's needs better. Would love...

Can't respond directly to this but will tell you that I had a craving for Brown Derby's grapefruit cake last trip. I asked at Starring Rolls if it was possible and they got it for me.
So yes, ask!

Perhaps because those that love it want to keep it a secret. :secret: Took me awhile to convince DH to stay here on one of our trips. He thought he had found his home at the CB after several of the...

Have posted many times that, while our preference is on property, we have had MANY off site visits that were truly great vacations. Focus on the positives:
a) If you've done Disney many times...

"... but whenever I go it is like the German CMs who handle the seating say 'Here comes Evan, Let's find the dullest, most stoic, stick-in-mudds currently wandering through Epcot and make sure that...
