The Hillbillies are my favorite also. We see it on every visit. My daughter has also been chosen to participate in their fiddling skit. She was beside herself with joy. :nopity: She now takes...

A really cool bathroom is the one on Hollywood Backlot (DCA) next to Cruella's trailor. It is totally in theme with black and white and spots.
The worst bathroom in my opinion is the one by...

I will chime in for the Disneyland Hotel also. I personally like the (Sierra) tower. One side faces the pool, the other side faces Downtown Disney. So you are sure to get a room with a view.

As promised, I posted lots of photos from Disneyland on Saturday evening. Click my profile link. There are also parade photos. Enjoy!

:flame:Sorry to hear you had to go through that!
We've had the fire alarms go off on us at DLR on 3 different occassions. Twice at the Grand and once at the Disneyland Hotel. The third time it...

Oh bummer. I'm so conflicted! I've been wanting to see this for years and wouldn't you know - I'm flying out to London on Dec 1.:search:

:deer: I'm sooooo looking forward to this! I know it will probably be crowded, but I'm definately going to go up on the 17th or 18th to see the Holiday Parade, Fireworks, and Castle. I WILL take...

I agree with the other advice.
Don't miss the Aladdin show. If you sit on the Mezzanine level you will see it all (flying carpet in the air) and not miss anything. If you sit down front - by...

I'll cast my vote for Hook's Point. Great atmosphere, good variety on the menu, reasonably priced, etc. Have the hotel guest services book you a reservation.
One time when we ate there I...

I'm happy to hear the air is ok up there. Since school is cancelled all week in San Diego County, I'm going to bring my daugther up to the Happiest Place on Earth today.

That's funny. :D
Last time I was at the DL hotel for a stay (this past Sept) I was bickering to a friend who was also there but in a different tower - we couldn't believe that the DL Hotel no...

I took down my Halloweentime Decor photos and put up photos from the Mickey's Halloween Treats party. So if you are looking for Decor photos they are gone.

I'm surprised to hear this. I've stayed at the DL hotel at least 20 times over the past several years and have ALWAYS had a fridge in the room. The fridge is often inside the big tv stand/armoire,...

The fires are already coming under control. The air quality is poor right now, but it should be fine by Nov 1.
-
When we've stayed concierge level we had the pre-stocked frigdge. If you move or adjust the contents it bills your room automatically - even if you don't remove anything. This fridge had a small...

Thanks. As for the pumpkin hat... some crazy chipmunk in DCA tried to snatch it off of her head. ;)

I agree with the other posters on this topic. San Diego is not known for it's public transportation.... although they are working hard on improving the Trolley Lines and Coaster routes.
I live...

Hi Mom on a Mission,
It appears I'm your answer lady on several topics today. :)
After the fantasmic showing they announce that you can stay in your seats to enjoy the fireworks display. The...

Here's a snippet from the Disneyland Halloween Time Web Page about the Seasonal Treats available:
Blue Ribbon Bakery: Chocolate Mickey Pumpkin Cookie, Cream Filled Pumpkin Muffins, Pumpkin...

Good choice on flying into Long Beach. That airport is small and easy to get in and out of.
-
Last week I had a Cafe Mocha at Blue Ribbon Bakery. It was delicious! I noticed they were promoting a variety of seasonal flavors - but I'm stuck in the "mocha rut." I'm assuming the coffee house...

I too am going this Friday, Oct 12th. I'm so excited!!! I made my DD a pirate outfit, but I will probably wear black and orange. If you see us I'll be wearing a pumpkin hat - and my DD will be a...

If you visit my profile I have a home page. There are lots of pictures on there from last week when I visited DLR . We took tons of photos of the decorations. My website is not a "Disney Related...

I must interject on this one. Hotel Del is a fine hotel, yes. But Coronado is far removed and you must cross the bridge or take a ferry to get there. The Hotel Del is also reputed to be haunted,...
