I totally agree! They are missing out on so much revenue by not featuring their villains to their full potential! Enough already with the Pirates and Nightmare merchandise!

I wonder if whether or not you got a card was based on how you booked? I always book through MJ and have never received a card. Maybe you only get a card if you book directly with Disney Travel???
-
I've stayed at POP, POR, Yacht Club, Poly, AKL, and BWV and have never received a card before any of my trips.

I've done solo trips several times and always eat at TS restaurants. I've never felt out of place being by myself. As a matter of fact, I think the CMs go out of their way to be more welcoming than...
-
When you call the ADR number they ask you to input your resort reservation # or your home phone #. I've never had to give my reservation # to make ADRs. The CM does ask what resort you're staying...

Last year there was a cart in Liberty Square that had an assortment of Haunted Mansion items.

Getting the annual pass for that long of a stay definitely makes sense! Yes, you can get the deluxe dining plan. That's what I'm doing for my trip later this month: annual pass & deluxe dining! I...

I would like to see the Villains character meal come back!

Oh no! No more daily updates! Thanks so much for posting while on vacation. I've enjoyed reading your posts & getting my disney fix through your photos.

When I was at disney last year it looked like they were phasing out the character car decals and replacing them with the stick figures. I like the characters better....Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, etc. ...

It's not that I hate it, it's just one of those rides where once was enough for me! Didn't strike me as being funny or scary. Kind of like it doesn't know what it wants to be and ends up...

I agree with the others. While the Brown Derby is very good, it's not worth 2TS credits.

If you mean the California Grill in the Contemporary resort, they're only open for dinner.

I really like the Coral Reef, 50s Prime Time and Liberty Tree Tavern. I've been to the Sci-Fi and wasn't impressed with the food or service. But there are plenty of people who've had good...

I've had really good luck with the ADR CMs (reservations CMs are another story, which is why I now go through MJ). For my trip next month I made 12 ADRs then I had to call back and switch a few...

Thanks so much for the feedback! Is Main Street decorated any differently? Is there any special party merchandise available in the gift stores like there is during the MNSSHP and MVMCP?
-
I'm turning 45 this year and can't think of a better place to spend my birthday so that's where I'll be! I think it's wonderful to have a place to go that always makes you feel happy!

Besides the park being less crowded and getting on rides quicker, is there anything special about the P&P party? Are there special fireworks? I think I read that there's a different parade but is...
-
If you get a time before the park opens you will want to take your ADR # with you so they CM at the entrance can check you off their list. There's a special entrance that will be marked for guests...

Of the 3 you mention, I've only tried Boma's. It's always fantastic! It's a good choice if you want to try a wide variety of different flavors. They always have 4 or 5 soups and I usually find 2...

Was the monogramming done for free before? Is that why there's a decrease in the number of personalized ears you're seeing? I've never been interested in getting mouse ears before because I didn't...
-
It's too bad that you had to pay admission for Disney Quest in order to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. Although it is a chain and just about every city has one, their food is always good.
-
My group of 6 went there last year and had a great time. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The tables are a bit close together but we had a nice view of what was happening...

I'll be in Disney the week of April 26. If anyone wants a postcard sent, send me a PM.:mickey:

It really is a shame that Disney makes switching resorts cost prohibitive. I ran into the same problem last year and just decided to stay at the Boardwalk Villas for the entire trip. It was a great...
