Hayden's Magical Wish!!!!

We took over 1,000 pictures, not including the 215 that are on the photopass. And Mickey Mouse has always been his favorite. The Sorcerer Mickey at MGM was the best. Hayden loved him!

I loved reading about your trip. It brought me to tears that there is no Make a Wish for kids as young as Hayden. When I was a flight attendant, I transported Make a Wish kids to Orlando all the time and it is a wonderful thing for families. Im so glad you had a good trip!

Unfortunately there are NO organizations that help families with children under the age of two and a half go to Walt Disney World or any other big wish like that. You can get smaller things like TVs and Stereos but that is not anything he would use and wouldn't give us any memories. It is really a shame. We were very fortunate that my family got together with donations from them and others to Hayden's Fund we were able to go, and didn't have to pay for anything but our spending money. Once again Thank You all for your support, thoughts, and prayers.

Hope your DW isn't a scrapbooker, or that she's a better one (as in more efficient) than I am. You all have a lot of pictures to organize! But if she is, send me a PM. I have plenty of Disney paraphenalia that I'd be glad to share with her.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like you had a great trip! Lasting memories. I happen to agree about the picutres and souveniers , I love getting home and organizing my pictures and things we bought.

I'm so glad your family, especially Hayden, had a wonderful time! These are memories you will cherish forever. May I ask how old Hayden is? Maybe somebody will hear his story and extend the "Make a wish foundation" to children under 2 1/2 or will come up with another foundation that will do just that. I hope your next trip is better than the last....and keep taking those pictures!!!

We don't know where it will be yet, but once we get the info in the mail I will let you all know.

Hayden is 16 months old (His birthday was the first day we were at Disney, birthday buttons galore) My sister-in-law is in the process of starting an organization along the lines of Make a wish for childre 3-36 months old. Once everything is up and running I will let everyone here know about it.

Once again thank you all so much for all of your thoughts and prayers. Now I have to start planning our reservations for November.
