With the fastpass report, I was there over the weekend and I know that Splash was being updated with the new fastpass machines I believe Thursday through Saturday. Space Mountain and Expedition Everest already had the updated machines with the new tickets.

Oh great, here we go with the wand again!
Personally, I would rather see the Hat at MGM/Pixar Studios go before the wand, but whatever.

Considering that the structure was only intended to be a 9-10 year structure
Does this mean that the integrity of the structure was only meant to last 10 years or that Disney itself only planned to keep it up for 10 years? I don't find the wand as disgusting as some people but I wouldn't care if it was gone either and with Spaceship Earth undergoing major rehab it just seems natural that they take the wand down at this time as well.
But I am also in agreement that the stupid hat needs to go.

I believe it was meant to only be up for 9-10 years. I'm sure that they didn't even realize that it would even be up this long. Just as long as they don't change it from "Epcot" to "Siemens".

    Closer to the former.

Disney has kept other structures well past their recommended life, so it isn't a definitive sign either way.

Good stuff. This is alway sso very interesting to read. I really think that the bus system will help a lot. It seems like transporttation is always a hot issue and I'm glad that Disney is showing that they are aware and are trying to improve it.

So the American Adventure show will be open in September, just maybe not the room where you wait before you get in? We loved the show, haven't seen it in years but saw it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was amazing, definately on my must do list. I am so out of the loop, is the old Canada film going to still be playing in September? Love that too.

The American Heritage Gallery is off to one side of the main waiting rotunda. Its closure is not expected to cause any effect to Guests other than giving them less options while waiting for the next show.
