What are the top 5 Souviner's you buy at Disney

1. At least one dated ornament

2. Photo Frame- Dated, or I add date

3. Something for our babysitter (if kids aren't with us) or our housesitter (if they are)---usually a kitchen item from WoD in DtD, or a Mickey gardening item for Oma.

4. Something cool from EC WS shops. Last few trips we completed "Ornaments Around the World"-1 from ea. pavillion...some aren't exactly "ornaments" but little figures we tied strings onto. I'll have to start over or think of something new this trip!

5. Kids buy different things, but we always get some monorail (train board at Christmas) stuff to set aside for gifts for youngest DS through the year (Monorail accessories, diecasts, playsets, figures, etc.).

I always hit every shop at DtD, at the parks it's random.

My favorite shops are World of Disney at DD (HUGE) and the AKL shop is full of pixie dust. Our favorite things are ornaments. I love our Disney Christmas tree.

I have to add something....ornaments. I never go home with less than 3 new ones. My tree is a Disney tree. Last trip I brought home 7 new ones.

These are the things I plan to buy on our trip.

1 - A Christmas ornament to commemorate our first trip to Disney!

2 - Ears for DD2 and DS due in May. (I figure he should get something because he is with us even if he's in my belly!)

3 - Scrapbooking stuff, Photo Frames, Albums

4 - Shirts for everyone (Onesie for DS)

5 - Disney Pins

I will also get treats and trinkets for everyone at home, but I will just have to wait and see what I find! Since it's our first trip, I am excited to shop! This thread has given me lots of good ideas of things to look for and the best shops. Thanks!!

This is what we love:

Buying some of the WDW coffee. It is nice when you come home to brew some and think of the wonderful memories you have and those that are yet to come.

The Mickey Mouse Ice Cube trays. What a great idea! They were a big hit when DH brought them home for fellow employees at his work. They still talk of them years later.

Antenna Toppers are a daily reminder of the trips that we have been on. We love to look for others who also have them.

The last two things that we are the Magic cloths and mugs.

Pins, anything unique, PINS! Pens, mickey-roni and cheese, and CD's.

My favorite shops are the ones that you go to after exiting a ride. You gotta love the Emporium. All World Showcase shops too... you know, I pretty much love all of them besides the bad ones here and there.
