I can stay for free (yippee) at either of these hotels. Has anyone stayed at either of these? Which is better?

We've stayed at Hampton Inns numerous times over the years, most recently in Montreal (July 2007) and have found them to be consistently clean, well-kept and up to date, and their complimentary breakfasts are always plentiful and nicely prepared. We've only had one experience at a Homewood, almost. We arrived at 4 pm after a 9 hour drive, for a 5-night stay. Even though the place seemed virtually empty, we were told our room wasn't ready and to go to the mall and come back a while later to see if the room was clean yet. A hotel next door had space and immediate occupancy, so, being hot and exhausted, we stayed there instead.

Well, we just moved our trip up a month and a half, and Hampton Inn was the only choice available. So Hampton Inn it is.
