DL Gallery Closing???

My husband heard today on the Radio that the Gallery above Pirates is closing on July 31st? Can anyone confirm this?

This has been confirmed by Disney they are closing the Gallery to make a new Disney experience.

Is everything in the Gallery moving to the Disneyana store. This is so sad!!! My DH and I love visiting the gallery. Any word as to what this area will become? Does anyone know if they are doing anything special prior to it closing. We weren't planning on going to DL until Sept. but are now thinking about moving the trip up, just in case they are doing something special.

Disneyland Cast have reported that July 31, 2007 has been internally announced as the last day of operation for the Disney Gallery and the Fantasmic! Balcony Seating Option.
