We're feeling pretty lucky! Debbie at MJ saved us $16 AND upgraded our room from standard to garden wing at the Contemporary. The price difference between a standard and garden view room is about $45 per night, so we're getting a good deal! Thanks Debbie!

    Default Public special question.....

I purchased my package in September of 2006, will disney credit me the difference if I try to take advantage of the special pricing? Or am I not eligable because my package has been booked and paid for so long? Thanks for any help. This is all new to me, I just wanted to take my daughter to Disney, I had no idea there was so much to it.

I got an email from Melissa this morning, unfortunately getting a discount for the Beach Club and my dates wasn't possible...

I could switch to another resort but we WANT the Beach Club....

Bummer, I've been patiently waiting and hoping for some sort of discount. Twas not meant to be.

    Default More Availability???

Is it possible that Disney will open up more rooms for this special discount? I couldn't get in on it, but was wondering if more rooms might open up.

Next time I will book with MJ for sure. If I PM my confirmation number to MJ, can you look for a discount or do I have to book through you from the beginning?

Past Visa discounts have been the same as public discounts. The only difference is that they are available to Visa cardholders a few days prior to releasing them to the public.

They have helped me after I had a res, which is what won me over. But this time went straight to them.

No, they generally don't open more rooms, especially since a general public discount package probably isn't far behind.

Yes, it is possible to switch to MJ even after you've booked the original reservation. Contact them and they can walk you through that process and determine the possibility.

It all depends on how the res was made as to the option of us taking it over.

Once we determine that we can take it over, it takes a few days for disney to update the record though.

    Default reservation

I just called DTC and booked it through them. I don't know what to do!! I am booked at AS sports 10/19-22. I don't have AAA, but might look into that if I can't get this discount. Let me know, you guys are the experts and I am not by a long shot!!! If you can help possibly get us the discount, I'll move the ressie over to you.

    Thanks!

    Default Are you say?

So, am I understanding that we can change our ressie to MJ and not have to change anything about our trip? If it takes a couple of days to change, will we be better off to just leave them with DTC and see if the dining discount becomes available? We are booked for All-Star Sport, and my son is set on this hotel, for the week of 10-6 thru 10-13 and they did not have the dining option available unless we wanted to switch to Music.

Oh my gosh I want to go for Thanksgiving so bad! Can't afford airfare! Anyone know what the deal is, maybe this would help downgrade the airfare price. We want to go from Tues. Nov. 20th through Sat. Nov. 24th.

    Unhappy No Discount for Me!

Alright I am going Oct. 4 through October 9th - it has been pricing at $1700 and I have been waiting for a special. I am a card holder and just called WDW to see what it would be reduced to. They had nothing available at the POP for those dates. Actually nothing at ANY value. The only place I could get a "special" price is at Saratoga Springs for a $1000 more! I am so bummed!

    Talking 3rd time the charm

I called DTC first thing after reading about discount. I was told that there was nothing available in value. I already have res 10/19-22. Called again to add a day and still nothing available. Called a 3rd time to ask about AAA discount and got a miracle worker!!! She was able to get me the discount leaving my res at AS Sports exactly the same!!! Just paying $300 less now!!! Just call and call, maybe you will get a fabulous phone person like I did and they will work some magic for you!!!

The email said that the deposit had to be paid with a Disney Visa between 8/13-15, so if you paid with another form, you might have to change and pay with Disney Visa.

Just changed my res for a 9 day/8 night stay at ASSports in Dec with park hopper and dining plan for $1601.52 (2 adults) - good deal.

Does anyone know if a AAA discount would work on top of this deal or is it one or the other?

Does anyone know how much of a savings they are offering? I would love a discount at the Poly but might be willing to switch resorts if there are no offers at the Poly. It would depend on how much of a savings they were offering and what resort.

I just started talking to Magical Journeys on Saturday. I told Denise (through countless emails) what our four groups wanted. I had already booked at Caribbean through Disney. I wanted an upgrade to Deluxe but the group couldn't afford it. She gave me a sheet that I had to fill out for each group and fax back to her so she could take over the reservation. She said I needed to do this fast because discounts would be posted soon. I told her I would have the fax to her Monday. I faxed her at 7:30 am on Monday, including my work number and by 8:00 she called and told me who to call to get the discount. She told me to hurry because they were going fast. She couldn't do it for me because it takes a couple days for Disney to put her name on the reservation to make changes. THANK GOODNESS SHE CALLED!! I called WDW right away and got the last 4 rooms for Wilderness Lodge for about $200 more per room for the week of 12/12-12/17. They only had 10 rooms left for AKL and they were parking lot view and only 3 rooms left for Poly. If she wouldn't have called me, I would have missed out on this deal. I have to say the CM at Disney worked really hard to get that last room for me too!! I was so worried about the size of CBR and I am on

I am so happy with this discount.
I got up early this morning and sure enough there was my e-mail from Karen saying that our trip of 9 night/10 day, with 10 day park hoppers and dinning plan at POP would now be $508.68 less.

I was so excited because it is also my birthday today so it was like getting the best present ever.
