20% Disney Store coupon - Question???

I just received (thru Disney Rewards Program) a mailing yesterday that was a 20% coupon at the Disney Store or for Disneyshopping.com. It's good for 11/5/07 to 12/16/07.

The question that I have, are the shops (all or one) at downtown Disney considered to be the "Disney Store"?

It just so happens that we are going to be down there during the offer period, and the thought of getting a 20% discount at DTD is great (and a little scary $$$!).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got one of these too...The fine print lists several exceptions, including Disney's Soda Fountain, Studio Store and World of Disney. I'm not sure if that's any of the DD stores. Also, you have to use your Disney Visa to get the discount. I have seen in their news letters that if you mention that you are a Disney card holder and show it in DD you get an automatic discount. Never tried it, but doesn't hurt to ask.

I was on the Disney.com site and they also have a $10.00 off purchases of $50.00 or more going on for Veteran's Day. I was able to use that $10.00 off on sale items, but not the 20% coupon mailed out. You can only use the 20% off on regular priced items.

The Disney Stores are no longer owned/operated by the Walt Disney Company. That would mean that their coupons can not be used at any store that was owned by the actual Disney company. The exception would be at the Disney web site "DisneyShopping.com" (I think). The Disney Store and the Disney Company have some type of partnership where their online shopping sites are concerned. I work at the Disney Store and it used to be that our coupons couldn't be used online, but this has just recently changed.

I was just shopping on the Disney Shopping website and I was planning to use this code, bu I ended up finding another, OURGIFT, which takes 25% off (even sale merchandise). Yay, Christmas Jammies!

You can get a discount at World of Disney in DTD just by showing your Disney Visa card. It is either 10 or 20% off. You do not have to use the card for the purchase, just present it at checkout. We use ours all the time.
