RC is and remains closed. Though some talk of it opening has been around, it will not be. I have some great memories of RC, and wish it would reopen. The advent of the water parks and the problems with the Bay Lake seem to prevent that.

Still would be nice for FW to have its own water park, even if a smaller, custom-built version not using the lake. Meantime, you'd think they'd dismantle the old RC structure.

I agree....not only would it be nice to have a water park convenient to MK but, when riding the boat from WL to MK you pass by what remains of River Country and it's really quite depressing to see it all overgrown and forgotten....and not very Disney-like, if you think about it.

It was loads of fun in its day....as others have said, lots of good memories.
    I LOVE DISNEY WORLD!!!!!
A dream is a wish your heart makes and mine came true when I retired here in December 2014! I go to a park at least once a week!
