When will the new Italian restaurant go on the DP?
We've got a trip planned for late Jan. and we're wanting to try the new Italian place in Italy, but so far it's not on the DP. Any ideas if/when it will become a part of the plan? Hopefully before Jan. 27....
I was told that it WAS on the DDP when I made the reservation!!
The Official WDW website DOES indeed state that Tutto Italia IS participating in the DDP.

One of Intercot's sponsors Magical Journeys has an updated listing of 2008 DDP restaurants from 11-29-07. Tutto Italia Ristorante has indeed been added again for 2008.

We just got back from a week long stay and one of our dinners was at Tutto Italia, and it WAS on the dining plan.
Unfortunately this was one of our least favorite of our 8 dinners. Our dinner for two would have been over $100, and it didn't come close to comparing to our dinner two days earlier at LeCellier, which would have been the same price or less.
I found the food at Tutto average, especially for what the price would be. I was most disappointed in the atmosphere and service. The previous Italian restaraunt had the servers singing and waving their napkins at different points in the night. None of that happened this time, and of all the TS that we had, this was the only one that we felt the server didn't try to personalize the dinner. Our servers at Spoodles, LeCellier, Whispering Canyon went out of their way, so this one was disappointing. Also, we often had to ask twice for refills etc.
This wasn't a terrible dining experience, just not what we'd come to hope for or expect. Hopefully you will enjoy yours.
We ate at Tutto Italia last week and it was on the DP as 1 TS credit. Ended up not mattering to us because our entire meal was comped by the manager after a horrible dining experience - food and service.
Not sure why, but when our server found out we were on the DP, she insisted on not only seeing our card before we ordered, but keeping it in her pocket for the meal. We were very uneased by that. Long story short - we left and went to guest services to be sure no charges were incurred on our card when it was out of our possession. The CM at guest services seemed to think that was very odd she asked to keep our card. Just wanted to give you that info in case you experience the same thing.
If you do go, I certainly hope your dining experience there is much better than ours. We definitely won't be returning there.
