Having watched all of the Big Brother's since the first, I can say this is the only season that I had no real opinion about who I wanted to win. There was nothing that memorable about this season other then a couple of people going to the hospital at the same time. Also, usually someone gets to leave the house on a trip and then come back and talk about it ... Maybe they considered the ER a trip and they didn't have to pay for it.

I had a feeling James would get the jury vote prize from the public. Throughout the season he has had a large fan base online. I noticed Janelle, Dick and Danielle in the audience during the live finale. I didn't spot any other former houseguests. I wish they would do more questions with the houseguests similar to the survivor finales. I'd like to hear more from the ones who were voted out early, and were able to watch the show from home.

Definately time for some changes in the show. I would like to see the public have more say in the game. I don't think voting for who stays and goes is a good idea, but I would like to see the public at least involved in the nominations each week. Possibly having the HOH nominate only one houseguest, while the public nominates the other one. I think that would change the entire way the game is played, and add more unpredictability to the game. The people in the house would never know who the "secret" nomineee will be until the ceremony. I think it also gets the public more involved in the show similar to Idol, instead of just being viewers.

Anyone know what the ratings were like for this season? I know they said last year's was the most watched Big Brother in the history of the show. Were ratings good this year, too? If so, I wouldn't look for any substantial changes.

Personally, I think BB has turned into Real World on network T.V. I really wish they'd take it back to its roots, where they just picked a bunch of random, normal people to live in a house together and see what happens. Personally, I found the earlier seasons much more interesting. I still think one of the best years (outside of last year, which I admit was probably their best) was the year with like Bunky and that crew.

Anyway, if they do make some changes to go back to filling the house with a more normal and diverse cast, I'm all for it.

I agree with Ian about Adam. I thought he would be the first one voted out. I sure didn't want to see him win. I thought he did the least of anyone in competitions and didn't stand out as someone who tried to win except to lie to everyone on both sides. His loud mouth way of talking was irritating to me. Ryan may have played people but I thought he was the one who tried the hardest and played the hardest in competitions. I was appalled at them asking Jenn such a pointed question about Allison with her sitting right there. How embarrassing! I just don't think Adam deserved it and can't believe that Sheila gave him her vote after what he said. I'm just glad this is all over. It was boring and even painful at times to watch. Unless they improve it over the last couple of years, I won't be watching it next time. (Of course, how would I know that if I don't watch? )

I am pretty sure the ratings were pretty low which is why I am hoping ED was right and they will be making changes to the next season.

I must say this show lost me after we got the Final 4 considering I didn't like them much.

Shelia: I couldn't stand to watch, half the time she was acting like some psycho which for some reason they never really showed on the CBS version they had always edited it out.

Sharon: Never really said much and was boring to watch but when she did she was annoying and half the time it was about Jacob and her voice kind of annoyed me.

Adam: Couldn't understand half the things he says and what I did understand I really didn't want to hear about.

Ryan: Probably the only one I could stand to listen to but 1 out of 4 isn't worth watching anymore.

Checking the ratings of Big Brother 9 and Big Brother 8 .... Last year Big Brother 8 averaged a rating of 5.4 (about 8.1 million viewers) an episode. This year for Big Brother 9 the average rating has been about 4.0 (about 6.3 million viewers) per episode.

I am glad Adam won, at least he will be helping other people with his money. I really thought Shiela needed the favorite voter money though..
