What really irks you, what's your pet peeve?

For me, it's a tie between two things.

1. Tardiness.

2. People who don't RSVP.

SO, if I invite you to a party, please RSVP and please be punctual!

When people -aka my dh - cause me to be late!

I just hate that! Just spit it out. Think about what you want to say first and then say it. And another thing...when I ask you something and you start with "well, you know" I just want to say "NO I DON'T KNOW" That's why I asked you.

My #1 pet peeve is: People asking me what my pet peeve is!!

My DH bites his nails while he's driving. Not a big problem except when he drives my car and leaves the gnawed off body parts all over the floor.

Children that scream in mega decibles in wharehouse places like Costco. Don't know what can be done about that one......

My mother leaves her teeth unattended on the bathroom counter, but she's quite ill, so I just throw a washcloth over them.

People who say "I could care less" when they mean "I couldn't care less."

Also, when people use "literally" when they actually mean "figuratively." Just because you skipped breakfast does not mean you are literally starving to death!

My #1 pet peeve is: People asking me what my pet peeve is!!

I'll admit it - that's the first thing I thought of when I read the thread title.

I'd have to say smokers throwing their butts out their car window.

I just can't stand it when someone doesn't rinse out their cereal bowl and then the cereal sticks to the side....and also doesn't rinse out the sink after dumping something down (My DH does with with coffee and it drives me crazy!)

I have too many to list but here are a few:

People who fuss about everything.Is there nothing that pleases these people??

Pretentious People.Don't show off your diamond watch or tell me you drank a $500 bottle of wine last night to impress me.It won't....especially since I know the check for the wine bounced and the watch is a knockoff.

People who discipline their kids and/ or let them scream for 45 minutes in public. Teach them how to act if you don't buy them the Spiderman doll. Jeez.

And finally...people who don't turn down their cellphones at places like weddings and funerals, or anywhere that it is extremely disruptive. It's getting out of hand when there are 8 cellphones ringing during a children's school play.

when people chew with there mouth open (#1 way to make me angry)

sick people. i cant stand watching people sneeze or cough. i could never be a doctor

when people complain about every last thing

when someone talks with like a frog in their throught, like as though they need to clear their throat (trust me, middleschool with boys voices changing was tough for me)

This is really funny I was wondering what people's pet peeves were when I was coming up the elevator tonight. Mine is when people are chewing their gum and they sound like a cow chewing its cud. I absolutely hate hearing people smaking their gum!!!

Also if a person is going though a checkout do they HAVE to be talking on the cell phone? It's really rude.!!

Especially when people insist on using them at full volume in public places, like in the airport.

And I will NEVER understand what possesses someone to use one of those while...ahem...tending to bodily functions in the public restroom!

SMACKERS-- people who smack their food or talk with their mouth open or eat chips and not close their mouthes ...CRUNCH... In a quiet movie theater and the person next to you is smacking their buttered fingers, crunching popcorn with their mouths open (amplifies the sound) It grates my nerves....
Just close your mouth when you chew please.
And people who don't know their boundaries like a niece's bf in my fridge taking a beer when he's underage and excuse me what was your name-- because we haven't been introduced yet or my dd's bf who comes in my house and changes the TV station during Grey's and tells me I wasn't watching He knows better now....

I went to the state's website to get information about what tests I have to take for my certification. It links me to another site for more information. That site links me back to the first site I went to....

Does that remind anyone of that middle school "trick" that was on an index card? One one side it would say "For a good time, turn this card over." On the other side, it would say "For a good time, turn this card over." And so it goes...

My pet peeve is water spots on the sink faucet in my bathroom I hate it when someone (DH)washes their hands or uses the sink and leaves water drops everywhere.
Maybe this is more of an OCD thing than a pet peeve!

Another one is when I am on the phone at work and someone will come into my office and just stand there as if to wait until I get through!

When my DH talks to himself.He will talk in a regular tone of voice to no one in particular.If I'm in another room and respond,"what?," thinking he's talking to me, he gets annoyed that I've interrupted his train of thought!

Oh....I have a lot! lol

1. people who don't take care of themselves. why are you going to make yourself unhealthy? some people are born unhealthy and would give anything to be healthy.
2. people who talk on their cell phones in inappropriate places
3. people who are pushy....I'm barely taller than 5' so people are always pushing me around in crowded places
4. people who go to sporting events and scream at the players at the top or their lungs the entire time or talk not stop loudly the entire game about nothing
5. sick people who go out in public and don't cover their mouth when they sneeze or cough
6. people who don't wash their hands when they go to the bathroom - GROSS!
7. people who allow their children to scream, run around and not ever say a single word. I've seen children break things, hit strangers and their parents never say anything.
8. people who don't say please, thank you or act courteous towards others
9. people who don't have social etiquette - if you go to a bridal shower bring a gift, if you are asked to RSVP...RSVP, etc.

I think that covers everything! I said there was going to be a lot of them.

People who carry on conversations in church or dark rides at WDW. (Both sacred).

People who sing the Star Spangled Banner, incorrectly.
