It may very well center on advance reservations, gas prices and the current state of the economy. If Disney is concerned about a slowdown in attendance there is obviously a greater likelihood of more discounts. My guess is this year there is a good chance of some deals as summer gets closer. Mark

A bounce back deal is offered to someone staying at WDW during a specified time period for a future time period. For example, last year when we were there in October, there was a flyer in the room to book a future vacation at a discounted rate (I don't recall the details right now). The future vacation had to be booked before our October trip ended, and was good for a specified time period. There were some bounce back promotions that offered free dining.
The offer of a bounce back deal doesn't necessarily mean another general deal will or will not be offered for the same time period.

Thanks, Rhonda. I was looking at the historic discounts and hoping that free dining comes around again. I wasn't sure if that was what the 2007 discount was.
