    Default DIsneyland Paris???

We have decided to take a 2 week vacation in Italy/France in May 2009. We are looking to do 10 days in Rome and 4 days in Paris. We don't want to do alot of moving around with 4 kids. Anyway our 13 year olds dream in to go to Paris and we are surprising her. We would like to do 2-3 days sightseeing and 1-2 days in Disneyland Paris. Can anyone give me some info on Disneyland Paris? I think we will stay in between Paris and Disneyland. Any inexpensive places to stay? What are ticket prices? Any info is great!!!!

you might be better off staying on the east side of the city than picking someplace between disney and paris. paris suburbs have a crime and gang problem (not everywhere, but...). i would recommend the 4th or 5th arroindissements, near notre dame, which would be good for sightseeing and also a little closer to the gare de l'est so you could easily get the train to disney. the train ride is about 35 minutes, and the train is clean and fast. they have an express route. i've been to paris 4 times and disneyland paris twice. they are both incredible.

for specific hotels, i've done the very french style hotels (read: miniscule but charming) and a more american style place called citadines. they have a few branches and are set up more like apartments. lots of room to spread out, plus they offer a kitchen to help cut down on costs, if you are looking for help in that area. i've stayed at two, and they were both great, especially because they offer a one-bedroom option so you can have some space from the kids at night.

    bonne chance (good luck)!
