ABC Commissary Menu Changes

Well, not really the MENU... just the menu NAMES!

Disney's ABC Commissary brands itself to "Dancing With the Stars," "Ugly Betty"

So what TV show would you like to eat?

The ABC Commissary at Disney's Hollywood Studios has rebranded its food offerings with tie-ins to ABC's hits. The menu, however remains the same. It's actually not a bad idea, as it ups the theming of a pretty nondescript eatery. (The main thing I always remember about eating there is how long it takes to get your food -- not the best traffic flow, there.)

But some of the items seem a bit of a stretch. What does "All My Children" have to do with a strawberry parfait?

Quick: What menu item goes with "Ugly Betty"? "Lost"? "Grey's Anatomy"?

"Ugly Betty" is represented by a cheeseburger.

"Lost" is given a nod by the "Down the Hatch" fish sandwich.

"Grey's Anatomy" goes with the chicken curry. (Ooh, it's McSteamy)

"Dancing With the Stars" is connected to the Cuban sandwich. Mambo away.

By the way, Disney's Web site tells us the ABC Commissary is where "the elite meet to eat." Hope they enjoy that fish sandwich. And that their cashier isn't named John Locke.

Well The only time we ate there the food was Horrible..... SO they can brand it all they want........ It is still the worst meal I have ever had at Disney World......

I try really hard to not use the word never when it comes to doing something, but when it comes to eating at ABC Commissary that truely is something I'll never do again!

Maybe someone from Disney sees all these responses and rethinks the entire menu at ABC.....I tried it, so I can say: I went, I ate, I did not like.....and I'll not be back anytime soon!!

ABC was absolutely the worst meal I have had at Disney......a close second was a meal we had at the Studio Catering two years ago....my DS's chicken drumstick looked like it had been in the trash for three days!! It too was bad, but the food at ABC was actually worse IMHO.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the negative opinions.

I ordered chicken strips and they were so oily and salty that I couldn't even eat them. They were very good (a tad too salty, but I'm accustomed to a very low sodium diet) everywhere else.

Haven't been back since!

I guess I'll respond, since only the people who dislike ABC are posting...

I thought ABC Commisary was fine. Seemed like it was the same food as most other standard CS places. Similar burgers, chicken nuggets and fries. I had fish strips that were pretty good, and DW loved the chicken curry.
