Strawberry swirl gone!

Someone please tell me it is not so. My DD is in the World this week and called me to say that the Enchanted Grove in MK no longer has the strawberry swirl.
If this is so, we need to stand up and fight this before they take away the Citrus swirl and Dole Whip as well.

I seem to remember some of my group eating strawberry swirls on Memorial Day Weekend. I can't imagine why they would remove it from the menu because it's one of the premier items at Enchanted Grove.

Bumping this up so we can get more current info...

A family member just told us they couldn't get strawberry swirls this weekend. We're not sure if this means they've been taken off the menu completely or that they were just unavailable (machine broken, etc.). Does anyone have any info about what the situation is? It would be awful if they no longer offered this fantastic treat...

Had to see for myself. Just got back (8/4 - 8/12) and found that the menu board had changed and it is no longer listed. Shop had few if any customers each time we passed by. It was also closed before the park closed. I would have been good for at least two of them in the 90 degree heat.

Hi everyone, I was also bummed about this as I had this on my "Must Do" list for my upcoming trip. Well I read somewhere else that these would be back on the menu at the end of September. So we'll see... keep your fingers and toes crossed.

When were at MK in June they did not have strawberry swirl.
We asked the girl at the counter and she said was they weren't serving it any longer.
I was so disappointed!
I hope it comes back.

What is a strawberry swirl?

It's like the pineapple/vanilla swirl at Aloha Isle, only with strawberry instead of pineapple.

I was in line to get one, and when I got up to the window, I was like, "I'll have a..." and I looked at the menu to make sure I called it by the right name... AND IT WAS GONE!

"Yeah, we don't have those anymore."

I had to order something else. So sad.

I overheard someone arguing with the CM there two days ago and she was told it was taken off the menu.

This is absurd!

First, its Beaver Tails.
They get rid of cheese sauce at Cosmic Ray's.
Then its the best CS on property, Tusker House.
Next, they ruin the Chicken Strips.
Now, they dump the Strawberry Swirl!

What's next, nixing the Mickey Bar?

I apparently need to stop LOVING something for it to stick around!

Man! That stinks. I just found out about them on my last trip and was looking forward to them on my next trip. I actually stumbled across them on our last afternoon (needed something to bring up my blood sugar) and LOVED it! Man, that really stinks.
