Discounts at PopC or book ahead to get "free" dining

The free dining offer is available in the UK for September 2009 but we only get the quick service plan but we can pay to upgrade to the full plan. We are more than happy with PopC but with the offer only being available to Moderates and Deluxe resorts it makes sense to upgrade. That is based on rack rates though. What I was wondering about was the likelihood of getting any discounts on PopC closer to the time. We don't have an AP but we would get one if the savings made it worthwhile for 2 weeks. I don't know if it's worth passing the offer and waiting or not. Any thoughts?

I am not sure how everything works for international travelers, but why not book with Magical Journeys and let them manage the promos for you? This way you can book now with this offer and if a better one comes out, they can change it for you right away.

If I'm not mistaken, the past couple of years there has been an offer for free DDP to foreign travlers, then later in the year it has been offered to the general public. The recent bounceback offer included value resorts and basic dining..... I'm wondering if there will be a general public offer again next year that will include value resorts and basic DDP that will allow you to combine both the resort and dining plan that you prefer. The tricky part is there is no guarantee they will do it again.

I agree, MJ offers the best opportunity to get what you want for your trip, and at the best rates possible.

I agree here also with using MJ. The last few years free dining has been offered to everyone during the late Aug - Sept time period. I would go ahead and book what is the offer now and change it later if something else comes along that you like better. We have already booked for next Aug. for our anniversary but I am hoping that they will do a free DP during that time so we can take advantage of it. MJ will change it for us if they do. I expect they will since there is the bounceback with free DP being offered for that time now. It won't matter if it is or not for us, because we will go anyway but it sure will be nice to get the discount and have the extra cash to spend elsewhere.
