Default YAK & Yeti - Yeah or Nay?

I have been reading some negative reviews on Yak & Yeti, has anyone been lately and can comment on the food?

    Default Sit-down or counter?

We ate counter service there the week of October 6th. I had sweet and sour pork, as did one DD. DH had honey chicken. Younger DD ate from the kid's menu, which is pretty much the same from place to place.

We thought the food was good, especially for counter service. The mango pie was REALLY good.

Default YAK & Yeti - Yeah or Nay?

We ate at the TS in June. The food was good (not great) and the portions were small. It was an all around OK dining experience but nothing special. I would not avoid Yak and Yeti but I will not actively seek it out again.

We had a very good experience at Y&Y. The food was very good and the service exceptional. We are going back again during our next trip in February.

We had originally planned on going to the CS part, but Nana was tired and wanted to sit down at a table, so we went to the TS part. We were so glad we did. The food was very good and the service was WONDERFUL! We are very picky and demand quite a lot, and we were very pleased with everything.

We ate there in September for table service and loved it. Here is my review (which I pasted from previous review):

Yak & Yeti. I was a little leary of this place because I had read mixed reviews. However, my DH really likes this type of food (I'm not crazy) for it, so I said we'd give it a try. I am so glad we did. If it had not been for LeCellier, it could have taken #1 in our favorites. Shelley & Tom had the Shaoxing Steak & Shrimp and gave it two thumbs up (I tried a piece of the steak and it was great). DH had the Duck with Anadapur Glaze with Jasmine Rice and Stir Fried Vegtables and cleaned his plate. I had the Sweet/Sour Pork with White Rice and Stir Fried Vegetables. I wish there had been more Sweet/Sour Pork--it was that good and I finished the entire plate (excpet vegetables--not a big vegetable eater--especially stir fried).
We had the Mango Pie and Chocolate Brownie Sundaes for dessert (we boxed three of them to take back to the CSR because we were stuffed).

i liked it, everything we had was good, as somone said earlier the portions seems smaller than most other restuarants on property. its also not a bad place to watch the parade from either. you don't see the ground stuff but if you get seated by the window you can see most of the parade

i went last year and can not remember for the life of me what i got. i do remember getting the glacier water tho because i have the pic of it on my phone still

If you get the baby back ribs, your portion will be HUGE! Very delicious, love the fried wonton dessert, too.

We ate there in June and really enjoyed it! Great food, good service, and the restaurant itself is really interesting - lots to look at! I had the crispy honey chicken and the fired wontons for dessert. Both were wonderful!!

We liked it fine. However, its really no different then fairly good Chinese food that you can get at home. We're a fan of most chinese food, so Yak and yeti worked for us. I wouldn't hurry back tho, but it was good for us for the night we were there. We ate TS.

We've always had excellent food and service there. Very large portions, and a knowledgeable staff. It's a wonderful place to dine!

YOU CANNOT MISS OUT ON YAK AND YETI!!! We went there in August, and at first, we were going to go somewhere else, but we decided to stay, and i'm very pleased that we did. The food was fantastic, i had the lo mein noodles, and they were the best I have ever tasted. The desserts were very good too. The mango pie is delicious, they also have a sorbet dessert, with 3 different kinds, and they have dessert won tons that are soooo good!! I have been dreaming of Yak & Yeti's food for weeks after our trip, you can't miss it!!
