    Default Fantasy Football Advise Needed

I'm clinging to the last playoff spot in my league, and need some help deciding which defense to start.

My choices are Tennessee or San Diego. Tennessee has been good to me this season, but this week, San Diego is projected for more points.

The Titans are playing Jacksonville, and San Diego is playing Pittsburgh.

    Any opinions?

    Thanks,
    Tammy

Right now, I'd give the edge to the Titans defense, though that will really depend on whether or not Kyle Vanden Bosch will actually play (right now I think he's still a game-time decision). David Garrard is usually pretty solid so the Titans really need to have their DE.

I'm not really crazy about the San Diego matchup however you have to think that the Steelers are shaky at QB (however, I don't think you can really trust the Chargers defense either)

Honestly either defense is a toss-up and you probably won't see that much of a difference in terms of points between the two and most likely aren't going to make that much difference in your league.

If you're really pushing for a playoff run then there are some teams that might be a better fit if they're available:

Miami Dolphins (could have what is the easiest schedule from here on out, their secondary looks good and Joey Porter by himself is a sack machine)

New York Jets (playing very hot lately)- 7 sacks, 4 INTs, 4 fumble recoveries and 2 TDs in the last 2 games?!?

Carolina Panthers (short term pick)- they have what probably is the best matchup this week since it's the Lions and Culpepper is certainly not ready to start.

It totally depends on the scoring system. Typically, DEF can be interchanged with no consequences.

    Cool

I think I'd go with the Titans. I think their defense is just better than San Diego's.

Titans have the better matchup. The Jags offensive line is pathetic and that's kept the Jags from putting up much of a run game and should allow the Titans plenty of opportunities for a low-scoring game, turnovers, and for sacks.

I'd go with the Titans. They seem to have a bit more favorable of a matchup despite our problems in Pittsburgh with the offense. They have been protecting Ben a bit better and Willie Parker may be back. Of course, now that he's not getting sacked quite as much, Ben's been throwing out INT's like they are candy at Halloween and he seems to have lost his groove with Santonio Holmes although Ward and Washington have picked up some slack there. Ben likes his TE's too but I think Miller will be missing another game - nothing official yet though. Good luck! My FF team is 5 - 5 and has the lowest point total in our league.

Yet another Titan supporter, but I have the Jets D so I'm quite happy
