does any one know where to stay near the port if you are flying in the pm before? and are there any town car services to take you to port carn?

By far, the easiest way is to stay at the Hyatt in the Orlando airport and take the DCL bus from there to port in the morning for your cruise. Look on the Hyatt site about pre-purchasing "stay certificates" to save some money (look for the "Gift certificates, cards & checks" link at the bottom of their home page); you'll need a "choice" level certificate for a mid-week stay or a "prestige" certificate for a weekend stay at the MCO Hyatt.

If you wish to drive on your own, the Radisson in Port Canaveral has received many positive reviews. You'd need to take car service or rent a car to get out there.
