Hmm... I think I know a certain moderator currently living in Japan who might be happy to hear this news...

I'd love to see Mickey's Philharmagic come to Disneyland in CA.

I'm thrilled about this! We won't be here anymore when this opens, but I'm happy for all the Japanese who won't have to sit through the cringe-worthy Mickey Mouse Revue anymore, and instead will have the opportunity to see the stellar Philharmagic! I remember saying when we first saw MMR that Philharmagic would be an excellent replacement.

I'm curious. What is so bad about Mickey Mouse Revue? It was removed from WDW the year I was born, so I never got to see it. However, I have seen video of certain portions of the show, and it looked decent, but watching video isn't anywhere near the same as seeing it in person, of course.

Of course this is in my opinion, but I just think it's bizarre! The animatronics are outdated, Mickey in particular. I know you could say the animatronics are just as dated in Carousel of Progress, but those aren't beloved characters, you know?

I'm not very good at particulars, but I just remember being like "huh?" when it was over.

Also, even though the park was full with wait times on most attractions of 1+ hours, MMR didn't even fill half the theater, whereas I think the Tokyo guests will love Philharmagic!
