I was looking at the Celebration Tour schedule, and the van will be here February 16 & 17. It doesn't have a place yet. Do y'all want to get together again? We can meet the Celebration Tour and then do lunch or something!

O.K., the Celebration Van is coming to the Chandler Mall on Monday, Feb. 16th between the hours of 11:00 - 1:00. We'll have lunch after.

No need to worry about school because it's a Federal Holiday.

I hope you can be there. What a special occasion.

Chandler is the only stop listed, and it was dropped to just the one day instead of the original two days.

Nobody at Chandler Fashion Center can tell me where the Celebration Van will be until Monday.
Why don't we meet at the event, (wherever it is - I'll know Mon.), and have lunch after.
Out there, is anything you could want:

The usual Olive Garden and Red Lobster
Dave's barbeque
California Pizza Kitchen
Rockfish Cafe
P.F. Chang's

Various chain steak houses that I can't think of right now.
A HUGE food court inside
El Pollo Loco
Marie Callanders
Denny's
Applebee's
Etc.

We're not going to be able to make it. Grandma wants to see the kids that day and then we have baseball practice. Can't wait to hear how it went.

I was still hoping we all could meet somewhere in the north valley area, like we talked about a few months ago. Even without a Celebration Van -- I'm not sure what that is anyway.

I'm sure if you pick a place and date, others will show. I was going to suggest one at Murphy Haus like we talked about, but my son's having health problems. With everything going on with him, I don't have the time or energy to devote to it. Marilyn was willing to get this one going.

The celebration van is an event. We can still meet at Murphy's or anywhere up North. I'm in Glendale every Sat. a.m.

Teamblackwell - look for me. I'm a Sr. Citizen in a red scooter. My basket has a handpainted sign with my name on it. I'll probably be wearing my Intercot shirt.

The Celebration Tour Van is basically the Disney Dream Team. It's touring the country, and will only be in the Phoenix area for two hours on the 16th. They're granting wishes and passing out "stuff"? Chance to win a cruise or vacation in addition to all kind of smaller prizes. It's an extention of the Make a Dream Come True year(s).

Thanks Cinderelley and Marilyn for explaining what the Celebration Van is. It sounds fun but I don't know if I'll get a chance to go over there.

I would still like to meet in the North Valley, and a Saturday brunch or lunch in Glendale would be great. I have plans on 2/21 but could meet on 2/14 or 2/28. I guess 2/14 would be too short notice for some people. How about brunch at the Saddle Ranch in Glendale on 2/28?

I can do that. Just point me to the Saddle Ranch. Northern is as far as I usually go, except for the times I shop at Luke AFB .
