Pirates Themed Uno Question

I bought my neighbor the Pirates Themed Uno game at WDW in December and gave it to them for Christmas. Unfortunately, he lost the instructions and doesn't know what the Dead Man's Chest card does. Does anyone else have this game and know what it does?

I don't have the Pirates theme Uno game but I have the Theme Park edition. There is a card that is unique to this game that isn't in a regular Uno game. It is a special card with Malicifient on it called the "EVIL" card. Here is what it says about this card:
"The player holding this card can steal the topcard from the DISCARD pile at any point in the game, even if it's not his/her turn. After stealing a card, the player must discard the EVIL card. The card then acts as a Wild card. The player who was in possession of that card chooses the color to be played in the next round and the game resumes with that player."

Maybe this card is similar to the Dead Man's Chest card? I hope this helps!

Thanks! At least that would give them a purpose for that card even if it's not the exact purpose. I'll pass that description along.

I'd bet donuts to dollars that boardgamegeek website has the answer. Its a site dedicated to board games and the people that love them....they have all sorts of scans of rules and clarifications of rules etc....for all sorts of games.
