Default Rare or Unusual Characters this week?

Hi Captain Jessica or anyone else in the know. Any info about rare or unusual characters out this week at the tear drop or American Adventure ? Also, with the new Fantasmic schedule, are they still doing the "Fantasmic" character meets in the Animation building late in the day?

This will probably be the last week or two for unusual friends. I think Toontown is looking good the next couple of days and that might be the end of it.

We tried the teardrop numerous times last Wed. and Sat. and had no luck! Did we just have bad timing?

It's specific days based on when CPs start. They come in about every other day right now.

There are three days where unusual characters are spotted, usually in this order. American Adventure Epcot, then the next two days at Teardrop. The times are usually about once every hour and half between 10ish until 3:30ish.

Figures this would be the last week for unusual characters since we are coming in two weeks. Oh well we will still have our Character Spotting Ears on.

Would someone tell me where/what the Teardrop is?

I don't know if this would still be the case, but in Sept. 2007 we met Capt. Jack in Liberty Square tucked behind the little shop with the Christmas ornaments.

That's the special greeting location for Captain Jack. Otherwise, he doesn't do meets unless it's close to start of P&PP.

Well the Teardrop is an area located right behind the ToonTown jugdes tent. If you keep walking past the train station and by a smoking area you will eventually come to a "teardrop" shaped area that apparently ends in a dead end. Characters who are breaking in new associates like to use this area to get some training.

Did I read somewhere that May is a good time too? If so, what part of May and could you give me a couple of examples of the characters that have been out?

    Thanks!

from what I understand each park has a certain number of characters they can have appear. As far as the Teardrop goes the most unusual ones would be...Kronk, Darkwing, Little John, Launchpad, any dwarf other then Dopey, Stromboli, Marie, but pretty much any character that appears in the parks is liable to appear. From my dealings in the teardrop some of the most often used characters are Stitch, Mr Penguin, Terk, Dopey, Perla, Suzy, Meeko, Fowlfellow, Gideon, Pinocchio, Gapetto, and Brer Bear.
At American Adventure you could see the Country Bears and at DHS when they were doing these type of greets you could see Clara Cluck.

Thanks for that info! We'll definitely check out the Teardrop when we're there in May.

We'll also check that spot in Liberty Square for Capt. Jack. The girls will appreciate it much more this time around. The last time we met him, they didn't know who he was and looked at him like they didn't want to get anywhere near him!
