1st DVC stay and I have some questions!

I am 76 days away! and I have all my ADR's but I have a couple questions. First, do I need to call dvc to arrange for Magical Express?
2nd, I have a split stay I will spend 3 days at my home resort of AKV then I am moving to SSR for the next 6 nights. When and how can I request a specific building in SSR? ( I know no guarantees )can I do this at AKV front desk while I am there?? 3rd, my reservations show Jambo house on the website but I requested Kidani. Is this just because the Kidani does not open until May 1st?I dont know if I should call or just be patient and see if it changes? I am leaving on May 13th. thanks! for any help you can give me

Yes, call member services to reserve Magical Express.

You can request a certain building right now. Just call MS and they will make note of it on your reservation. The earlier you make your request known the better. Also be sure to mention it when you check in.

As for your AKLV stay. I do not know why you would not be in Kidani if that is what you requested. It may be because you are staying so close to the actual opening. Again, a call to MS should answer that question.

I don't think Kidani has any value accomodations, so if you're staying in the value category, then you probably don't have any choice but Jambo.

I'd call MS with all three issues - and keep a written list right next to you when you call so that you can check things off as they are answered (can't tell you how many times I've hung up and then remembered something that I failed to ask!).

They should be able to clear up everything!

Yeah, I would call MS and make sure you're really booked for Kidani. We have a reservation there in May, and when I checked it on the DVC website, it does specifically say "Kidani." Might not hurt to double check!

Our reservation explicitly states Katani as well. This is for August.

I called member services, they were very nice, but my reservation that I made for a savannah view studio in Kidani is a savannah view at Jambo house I assumed that because Kidani will not open till May 1st that was why it was showing Jambo house Now, they tell me that Kidani has no SV studios available. I am now on the waiting list. The CM was very nice and he apologized over and over again and said he would put me on the VIP waiting list. Well, I am alittle disapointed but I still have a SV in Jambo house and I know I will have many more years to stay in Kidani if my waiting list does not come through. Thank you all for your help.
