2 questions about booking 1 br AKV

1-on the points chart for 1 br, it says some sleep 4, some sleep 5. When you book, are you able to request the room that sleeps 5?

2- my paperwork states that I own at the new building (Kidani? I always forget the name). Does that mean when I book at my home resort, that I will automatically be booked for a room in the new building? or is that something I would have to request?

Yes, you will want to request a room that sleeps 5 and yes, you will want to request either Kidani Village or Jambo House (main building Lodge).

I would call and check this should mean that they have some room for 4 and others for 5.
you can book at any area that is part of your dv'er if you want another section no problem as long as it is AKl.

Just a guess, but the rooms that sleep 4 are probably Jambo house, the ones that sleep 5 are probably Kidani.

Like I said, just a guess, but the Jambo rooms are smaller and to me would mean they don't have room for the sleeper chair.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I am pretty sure that all of the 1 br's sleep 5 except for the value 1 br's....

correct me if I'm wrong.....but from what I have read the value rooms are too small for the sleeper chair that would hold the 5th person. all other 1 br's have the sleeper chair.

Rhar is correct. The value 1 br does not have room for the sleeper chair. And I also believe that there are some Jambo rooms that do have the sleeper chair. All of the Kidani 1 brs will have one as well.

In terms of where you own, it doesn't matter whether you own at Jambo or Kidani, they are all AKV points. You can request either one when you make the reservation.
