Default How long does dinner take at Chef Mickey's?

Hello all- Trying to plan dinner at Chef Mickey's before Wishes and wondering how long it generally takes to eat there? When you have an ADR, do they generally get you in right away? Thanks!

Hello! We ate dinner at Chef Mickey's last May, and we were there maybe just a little over an hour--give or take. All of the characters cycled past our table, we were there for 2 rounds of the "napkin dance," and we hit the dessert end of the buffet. You can stay as long as you want since it is a buffet, but I would say an hour is probably average.

If you make your ADR, it should be little to no wait. As for how long dinner would take, it is a buffet, so as long as you want. If you want to eat and see all the characters, it should take maybe an hour or a little more. I have never been there for dinner, but I've been there for breakfast, and it is fun and the food is great!

I think it usually takes us an hour to an hour an fifteen minutes. We have never had to wait very long with ADR's.

I forgot to answer the second part of your question... We've eaten there a few times for breakfast and once for dinner. On all occasions, we've had an ADR and never had to wait terribly long. We have waited, but it has never been more than 10 minutes I don't think.

IamBelle, you should try dinner just for the desserts. They have these milk chocolate covered oreos that are YUMMO!

We try for the 5:30 p.m. seating. There is no wait. We are done by 6:45. If we are at the MK we walk over there. It is a short walk. Then we go back to MK for the fireworks. We never have to rush, and there is no rush there. If you get there a little later, you might have a ten or fifteen minute wait, which, is not too bad.
Keep smiling and Have a magical day!!!
    It's all good.

We love to serve fun, food, and deliciousness.

From the other posts, I assume our experience must be the exception, not the norm, but we waited almost an hour to be seated at Chef Mickey's even with ADRs.

When we were there in November 2007 we waited almost 45 minutes for both of our reserevations. We did dinner and breakfast. Neither were at high times. We did a late dinner of 7:50 and breakfast was at 7:30 ( I guess some would consider that prime time). In 2003 we barely waited 10 -15 minutes.
