    Default BCV room location question...

Hi! We are heading to WDW in a month, and it will be our first stay at the Beach Club Villas. A friend told me when they stayed there, the room was VERY noisy (it was near a spot where delivery trucks started up every morning at 5am). She said I should request a room in a "quiet section". Does anyone have any advice as far as what building/section I should ask for? We're traveling with 6 kids, and the thought of a 5am wake-up call everyday sounds less than appealing.

Again, I've never stayed here, so not sure what the layout even is. Is there a building that overlooks the lake, the pool, the grounds, etc as opposed to the parking lot??

    Thanks for any input.

We've stayed at BCV a number of times and have never had this problem. Thinking about it, I think I know the area they were talking about having driven past it. I would just tell the Cast Members at check-in this is a concern of yours. I think any room pool side will not have that problem (although late night swimmers might be noisy). We have stayed in the rooms that are very close to the main BC building, and rooms that are the farthest away ie closest to the parking lot and the main noise problems we've ever experienced was people from other rooms sitting on their decks late at night talking. Good luck.

My favorite area to stay in is in the "jog" about half way down the long hall from the elevators in a woods view. As you get off the elevators, turn left, go down the long hallway until you can turn right at an ice machine/vending machines. And it's very quiet there-DH is a super light sleeper, yet on the last trip (his first at BCV), he remarked on how quiet it was and how soundly he slept. And I love the woods view!

We stayed in a pool-side room on the first floor. It was very peaceful and quiet. This was perhaps one of the more peaceful places we have ever stayed. Probably OKW is more quiet, but both are fantastic.

We were put way over by the guest parking. It was VERY quiet. It took some time to get to our room and I am not ashamed to say I actually got lost walking through the resort... twice! But otherwise, nice and quiet with an over look of the quiet pool.
