    Smile Landyards to Collect Pins

Ok When we go to WDW in Feb 2010 I want to have presents for my boys to open on the drive down to FL. I wanted to purchase the Landyards to collect pins with and I cannot find them anywhere? Can someone help me with this. Since there is 6 of us going they will be costly and I wanted to start buying them now.

    Thanks a Bunch!!!
I hope you have some Pixie Dust in every day!

We bought some for the kids last year at Dollar Tree. They had "Cars", "Princess" and "Tinkerbell" themes. While not as nice as the ones at Disney, they were cute, functional, and only $1 apiece.

If you want something nicer, there are several people selling them on E-bay. While a bit more expensive, they do tend to be cheaper than the ones in the park and are a little more substantial.

How close are you to a Walmart? Or check online for lanyards, you might find them online. I keep forgetting about that myself about checking the Disney store online. Have fun shopping and of course Febraury will be here before we know it. Have fun planning fun things for you all to do while your here. Don't forget to look for the hidden gems in the different areas of each of the parks.

My son got one of the lanyard pin trading set when we were in DW in 2004. I thought it would be nice to buy him a different lanyard for our trip last year and found some cute ones at the local dollar store. Since you mention using the lanyard for pins, be careful when buying the cheap ones (thin nylon type) I thought they would be better b/c they were lighter weight (and saving money is good in my book) - well when we inserted pins the holes would stretch and fray and it just wasn't something I felt comfortable using. Spend the extra couple of dollars on Ebay for them or if you can find them locally at Wal-mart the thicker woven ones are 100% better in my book.
