 One year later...
Can you believe VMK closed a year ago? I still miss it, my friends, and my chairs terribly.
What have you done in the year to replace the time you spent on VMK?

I've been sat in one of Hockey's chairs crying...
Like everyone else, totally missing everything about VMK - hanging out with friends, dancing at the end of every night, games, creating rooms, laughing at (sorry - watching) Cat organize ride competitions, sitting in trees, levitating, treasure hunting, teleporting, etc...
Disney is life......the rest is just details!

Funny I should stumble upon this post...just this past weekend hubby and I visited with friends we made in VMK while they were in the area. We reminisced about how we all met & how sad it was when VMK closed.
Since the new year our new game is World of Warcraft. Sooo addictive!

Every once in a while, a memory of an image of VMK hits me. It's always unexpected and out of the blue, and I'm not ashamed to admit to all of you that when that happens it takes my breath away with sadness, yearning, and anger (at whoever decided to do away with it). I'm a little surprised at the strength of my emotional response. But there it is.
What did I do all year? Work and raise kids.

It seems like a long time ago when we played VMK. I still miss everybody so much.

You know I was kind of ignoring this thread because I still miss VMK more than I would really want to admit  I mean yeah we play Smallworlds and I see some people but I miss being able to login and know I would see just about everyone every day especially when I am having a bad day or need to vent. I have spent way too much time alone on Smallworlds
