Pop Century - Online Check In

Not sure if this is the correct category to post this question but I have searched the forums for a couple days and could not find a specific one that gives me an answer.

I just got my reminder email from WDW telling me that my trip is almost here and it included the option of checking in online. We will be staying at POP as we have for many trips before but have always checked in the usual way, once we get to the resort. This time we would like to try checking in online.

My question is: is there a specific line at the front desk for those who have checked in online at POP? And if so is that line separate from those guest using normal check in? Thanks for any info you can provide.

Yes, there is a specific, separate line for those who've done online check-in at Pop. The line will be marked but I think it was to the right as you face the counter. We arrived at 1:30 am so there was NO Line at all and we just walked up to the CM at the counter.

Is there any choice in rooms when you do online check in? For example when you check in they normally assign you your room but you can ask and see if they have something more to your liking.... how does this work with online check in?

I just completed my online checkin since I will be there at the POP in 10 days. No place to request a room location. But, I called Disney and put the room request on my reservation. It's not a set in stone deal but I am sure they will do their best to make us happy.

Did I say 10 days? lol..
