    Default Personalized Menus & such

I suprised my DH last year with personalized menus at the coral reef & it was really fun! I was wondering if anywhere else did anything special like that. I'd like to do something slightly different (even if it's just a different resturant or something since he'll see it coming @ Coral Reef) Thanks!

    1) Any sit down eatery can do custom menus.
    2) It is up the CM if they want to do it.
    . . . if they have time
. . . if they are energetic enough to do it
. . . if you are nice to them

    No way, really??? Cool!
Anyone know how I can get in contact with the resturants? Last year after inquireing on these boards, someone PM-ed me the email address of the coral reef manager. Is there any place I can look up the name or email addresses of any resturants?
(Preferably California Grill or Chefs de France) Thanks!

From what I understand, the practice has been discontinued at the Coral Reef because what was a "once in a while" thing practically became a full-time job for the CM who handled the requests, and also because not everyone could be accomodated. leading to all sorts of unmagical issues.

I've never heard of it being done elsewhere, but if Rusty says so, it must be. (S/he lives there and I don't so has seen more. )

    1) There is no cost.
    2) The eatery adds notes for the special event.
. . . menus are on the computer in the back room
. . . they add the special event verbiage
    . . . print on menu stock
    3) Some eateries still add a photo, but not many.
    4) If they get too many requests, like Coral Reef, they just say no.

NOTE: As mentioned above, the Coral Reef requests got WAY out of hand. It was not meant to be offered to everyone, and certainly the restaurant was not staffed to have a person just do menus. Additionally, the divers had other duties and had difficulty due to the requests for signs. Other eateries won't let this happen.

Hello! I just attempted to send you a PM, and it said that you were unable to receive them. I will gladly send you over the info if you want to PM me, or change the settings to allow PMs

California Grill took a souvenir photo of us when we were there for our anniversary. They presented it to us in a nice card folder before we left. Be sure to note your special event and ask about the photographer when you're there. Narcoossee's also presented us with the label from our wine and date of our visit mounted on a card for our visit. I didn't request anything ahead of time, but was pleasantly surprised with these little touches on premises.

Last month my wife and I went to Artist Point for our anniversary and they gave us personalized menus, I didn't request them. I just told them that it was our anniversary when making the ressie.

    Thumbs up

The same thing happened to us that happened to ERJDriver at Artist Point. When we made advanced reservations we told them that it was our anniversary and when we arrived we received a personalized menu, a complimentary champagne toast and a special dessert. The staff was fabulous to us and made our 40th anniversary a memorable one.
