If we want to camp the first week in December, nov 29th-dec.3, then when is the latest I should try to book this trip. We aren't buying a package, just a campsite. We want to camp, go to MVMCP, and then hang out by the beach and do disney campground stuff......things we dont usually get around to doing. However, I remember trying this last year and there not being any sites available and wondering how early they book up.

People started calling for Nov and Dec a year ago. Several people spend the whole winter at FW.

You need to call NOW!!!! We have called in January two different times and been told there were no spots available. There are couples who come down to "snowbird" and stay for weeks and weeks and Christmas is a very popular time to come.

If you don't get what you want, call early every morning and if someone cancels, you can get a spot. Good luck!

I guess you have found out by now if the are open on Sundays. Depending on how many days you want to stay and what loop helps decide what is open I think. We always want up by the marina and those sites go first a lot of the time. We have had to book our campsite with 3 days in one loop and 4 others in another. The reservation people will tell you they don't have a campsite for a 7 day stay unless you move around. Kind of dumb, but hey, whatever works as long as I get in!!

Hey! We just booked. We booked online and got November 28th- December 5th, no problem. I don't care where we are in the campground. We got the 2100 loop twice, so I assume we will be there again. Sooooo excited. I will be there for my birthday! Getting annual passholders, I assume, at this point.

I have never heard that and we stay for fourteen nights. Is this because of the time of year, or because you want a specific loop?

Same here BUT once during Christmas season we had to go through the process of getting less than the number of days we wanted and then checking back periodically for cancellations until we eventually got what we wanted. The best advice is to book as soon as you have dates in mind even if they are tentative dates. You can always cancel and the earlier you start with reservations the more chance you have of getting your dates.

I just got a pin code for free dining for november-december. Now, since this is a "pin code" can I use the free dining offer with the camping that I have booked already or do i have to upgrade to value in order to get the free dining?

I don't think Campsites are included in the Free Dining offers. Wilderness homes, maybe, but not campsites. You will probably have to change to a value.

well i would think pin codes would be different, however, if i cannot get it, then i will do without. It wouldn't make sense to spend an extra $1600 for us to get free food.
