I think that's just one of the trade offs for using the online system. It will only check the hour before and after the time you request. After that you must modify your search to check other time frames.

I tried again yesterday to modify the time on my Ohana reservation and wasn't able to find anything that week. I'm beginning to think Ohana's is the most popular restaurant there. Anyway, I went back in last night and actually got a reservation for 5:00 on the day I wanted so we are good to go! Everything else is the way we want it too. It sure saved a lot of time to ck on line off and on and snag some times I couldn't get on the phone instead of having to be on hold every time I wanted to check. I will now call and make sure one day next week if these new reservations are tied to our dining plan and are confirmed just to make sure. I hope they aren't over booking doing it like this. Still couldn't pull up my trip confirmation though with the MJ #.

On my email confirmation the confirmation number is right at the top of the page.

Someone here gave out this link which enables you to see your reservation online. Can't really do anything with it, but at least you know they have record of it!

I have my confirmation # through MJ but when I put it into the dining on line where it asks for your trip confirmation #, it doesn't pull up anything and says you have to call the Dining number. But I am still able to make reservations on line. I'm just not sure if they are attaching them to my trip reservation #.

I still think the system does not recognize DVC members or trips booked via a travel agent... Your travel agent should be able to make the ADRs for you though...

No, MJ said we had to call Dining ourselves, which I did. But I made some changes online. I just want to be sure that our online reservations are connected to our Dining Plan the was the ones called in are, if that, indeed, makes any difference.

Yep. My 90 day window opened this morning and the online system did not recognize my DVC confirmation number. I had to call to make ADRs past the 1st day of my trip because the online system does not recognize my DVC reservation. Just an FYI for other DVC members who are preparing for ADRs. It was a little agravating, but in the end I got the 2 I wanted most, 'Ohana and Boma, so I'm happy.

Just as I figured... Did you get shut out at any place??? Was it because you were 1 hour behind regular guests???
It is nice to know Disney really values their DVC members... The least they could do is open phone lines at 6:00AM for DVC members knowing full well we cannot book online... But, I guess I shouldn't expect any more from them... What do they care???

Have to agree there. What's right is right. I just hope I don't get shut out of the Castle for DD#2's birthday. I'll be very upset because I'm sure I could snag something if I were there right out of the gates. I've gotten everything I've wanted for years. Still have my fingers crossed, 35 days to fix this! LOL!

I didn't get shut out, but I did have to do some rearranging. I guess that's to be expected. I do remember what a pain it is to get an ADR for the Castle. We weren't trying for that one this time, but seriously an hour can make or break you there.

Ten minutes can break you, never mind an entire hour. The only thing I'm hoping is that we'll have a better shot because we're looking for lunch, not breakfast.

I sent an email stating as much... I did run off why we should be given the same consideration as a regualr resort guest... Not that we should be given better treatment, although one can argue we should, but, at least make it fair... Bad enough we are shut out of the free dining... Now we can't even book ADRs online along with everyone else...
I think emails to Jim Lewis are in order... Make phone calls, send letters, send emails... Maybe if we complain loud enough, they will start opening the phone lines an our early until the problem is resolved...

Ten minutes can break you at any of the popular places... Now DVC could possibly get shut out at them because we cannot book 90+10 online??? Not right... Just not right...

Yep, same thing happened to us. I tried at 6:00AM and could only book our first day. I had it worked out with my sister for her to call (I had to go to an all day meeting today) and have a lousy time for California Grill which i will spend the next 90 days trying to remedy. We got all of our other times, however.
Still, this is not right and it sounds from every person I speak with that this is not planned to be corrected any time soon !

Amazing isn't it??? I told ya, emails and calls and letters need to be sent to Jim Lewis... He needs to know we aren't going to be tolerating being treated like we don't exist... Well, we only exist when our next payment is due.. Call his office... Let's go!!!

Read earlier in the thread, and just experienced this:
On the phone, there was no availability for a party of 5. Hung up, and started playing around online, and was able to book a party of 5 and a party of 7 for 12:50 @ chef Mickey's.
How did online see this if the phone didn't?
(I originally asked for Breakfast, but then asked for anything on 9/26).
There seems to be no sign of intelligent life anywhere.
