Has anyone gone to Bermuda?

Did you like Bermuda? How was the food and prices? I am going next week and made reservations (sound familiar) for the Waterlot Inn Restaurant. My girlfriend and I are going for her 60th (shhhh) birthday. Don't tell anyone, LOL. I think it is going to be so much fun. Input????

We cruised there in June. Spent 3 days in bermuda. It is very expensive to eat out.
We ate at the swizzle inn (the original) it was great pub fare and the pitcher of Rum SWizzle was a great value and very tasty! The owner Jay is always around and very funny.
Shopping was expensive. but it is beautiful there and I would go back in a heartbeat

My dentist, Dr. Roan's sister-in-law owns the Swizzle Inn. Talk about "It's a Small World After All". Dr. Roan told me to stop there and say "Hello". They love Bermuda. Sharon and I are gonna have a blast. I have my clothes laid out, my carry on is ready, I just have to add a boat and some water, and I will be at Logan Airport on Thursday to fly out. Can't wait. Thank you very much for your input.

Bermuda is beautiful! You're going to have a wonderful time. It is expensive, so it's not perfect, but as long as the weather cooperates, it's very close to perfect. We used to rent mopeds, but I prefer to rely on their efficient bus system. Ask your concierge about multi-day passes.

Have a swizzle for me!

I forgot to mention that one of the things we remarked on was the public bathrooms are incredibly clean!
Also, if you take the bus or a cab be sure to say hello, good day, etc. the bermudian people are very polite.
My DS 14 commented while we were on a bus one day and everyone was beeping he said, "mom, even the horns sound friendly down here, not like in MA."!
Another time on the bus the drawbridge was open to allow boats through and I wanted a picture of the bridge so the bus driver let my sister and my DH off to take pictures! she was very nice and all the locals on the bus are very polite as well, they stand up and offer seats to woman and elderly. Very refreshing!

Well, I hope "Bill" doesn't tag along. Three is a crowd. "Bill" won't be a crowd pleaser. I hope that "Bill" decides to go into another direction. Everyone I talked with had one word for Bermuda, that is Beautiful. We can't wait.

Oh wow! DH and I went to Bermuda on our honeymoon- 20 years ago in just a couple of weeks - and we ate at the Waterlot Inn. It was one of the best meals we have ever had, we still talk about it. Enjoy!!
