No date has been announced yet. Feb 2010 is all Disney has said.

I always liked this show as well. The music was loud, and just sounded great. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

Anyone know how "limited" the engagement is? I will be over in Disneyland late June 2010...hopefully it will still be around!

I hope it's there at the end of April! I would love to see it one more time. I have a pin from the film from before there was pin trading.

Planning to go in early December, however willing to change plans to see Captain EO. If anyone finds out just how long the limited engagement is I would be happy to know.

ok i'm gonna take the opposite view. First of all i LOVE Michael Jackson. He is the uncontested king of pop, and he not only dictated the 80's music, but the 80's in general.
    his music is incredible.
Having said that, I don't think he is a good represantive of Disney. i have no idea about the allegations and if they are true or not, and it doesn't matter. at the very least he, by his own words, used very questionable judgement with children. and his death was caused by an overdose of drugs...his own family said he had a history of abusing pain medicine.
It's all about image, and his image, fair or unfair does not live up to disney standards.
I heard an imagineer on one of the Disney shows say that Disney is held to a higher standard because it holds itself to a higher standard.

The point of my thread was not to debate his personal life, but to say why i don't think the attraction should be there. and I don't think the attraction should be there...sorry if i offended you.
