Need suggestions

I'm going back to Disney the first week in April with my nephew. He's 6 and very picky. I wanted to send him on a pirate's cruise or something one morning to give me a small break. I asked him about a pirate's cruise and his response was I don't like pirates. Any ideas on a children's activity so his dear aunt gets a small break?

Notwithstanding giving you a break - make sure that he has your telephone number in case he "escapes" - I put a dog tag on my DD show with our cell phone number just in case

Why don't you give yourself a break in the evening instead. You could sign him up for one of the kids' clubs at one of the Deluxes and then go enjoy a relaxing dinner somewhere.

Anyone staying on Disney property can use the kids clubs as long as the children meet the requirements.

I've never left my kids (4 of them), I tend to be a bit overprotective, but I am trying to expand my comfort zone. I would maybe try one of the kids clubs in the resorts if I were staying on the resort grounds while the kids were there. How about a nice quiet dinner or maybe a spa treatment? Assuming he will be okay with being left alone. My kids would be fine together but would freak if I left them alone. Good luck! What a great auntie taking him to WDW!

Now it looks my 12 yr old nephew could be joining us. He called yesterday asking if he could go too. How can I tell him no when I'm taking his younger brother? This could be an interesting vacation. And to think this plan started as a solo trip. I had better get aunt of the year for this. I really am going to need that trip to the spa
