We have family visiting from out of state and they wanted to try and go today. Against my better judgment we went, LOL we got there at 1pm and they had already stopped selling tickets for Disneyland. So we just turned around and headed home. We may attempt it again tomorrow since they are leaving Wed but I'm trying to convince them to skip it this trip. LOL
I heard something about power outages in the left side of the park(Frontierland, NOS, Adventureland). Anybody hear anything about that??
Have heard that they stopped selling tickets 3 days in a row. And these are full price paying customers! Not AP's. WOW! Bless those that are braving the crowds. Went on 4th of July and the longest wait was an hour for Space and Indy, nowhere near the 120 its been averaging.

Today they stopped selling tickets at 10am. The park was already at capacity. I don't think I will go on Thursday afterall.

A friend of mine was there on Monday and said it was so packed you could barely walk. I have had the Disney itch myself, but I think I am going to wait 2 more weeks to scratch it.

We will be going on Jan 1st. Have done it before and it was not crowded. At least in the early morning/noon time. Everyone is either too tired from being at Disneyland on NYE, or have hangovers from outside the park parties, to be there early in the AM. I just wanted to see HMH once more before they close it until next fall.

I saw on the news yesterday that Disneyland was sold out 2 hours after opening -- evidently all the canceled flights heading east are partly the culprit -- nothing else to do? Let's go to Disneyland!

That's pretty standard for Epcot...oh wait, your at California Adventure??? And there's a wait somewhere??? Wow!
You joke, but if you were in the park last weekend, you wouldn't be laughing.
I was at the Disneyland Resort from Dec. 24-27, and it was beyond insane, particularly on the last day. It was easily the most crowded I have ever seen a Disney park. Every single attraction was packed. It was virtually impossible to walk in Disneyland to the point that we just left more than a half-day early. There was no point of staying.
The lines were nuts at California Adventure as well. At least four or five major attractions had waits of more than an hour. It was unreal.
But, despite all of that, it was a fantastic trip!
Was at Disneyland/DCA today and it was not crowded to the point where they would close the park. Hand stamps were not required for AP's, but we got one anyway.
I didn't feel crowded and was able to get what we wanted to see done by 11:00am. DCA was not that busy either with the exception of TSMM. I didn't check out Soarin over CA.
The crowd actually seemed less than the regular Saturday crowd. I guess New Year's Day is a good one to go on.
