When staying at Bay Lake Tower on points, how does one make arrangements to get access to the lounge?

There is a desk in the BLT lobby and if I remember correctly the CM's start at 5PM. They will escort you to the elevator and send you up to the lounge.

We were there the week before Palm Sunday in 2010 and had no problem getting in. At the time, you had to be a DVC member staying at BLT on DVC points. I thought the lounge was nice, but not super. We had a Lake view, not a MK view. We could safely lean off our balcony just a bit and see the fireworks from out room anyway.

BLT is super! Can't beat being on the monorail and having a five minute walk to MK.

It was when we were there (end of June). I'm not sure what they do during the holiday times.

Not to worry Faline. It is very easy to get access to the lounge. I have done this right before the fireworks when it has been a crowded time and have been able to get up in time for the fireworks but it is best to give your self a little time before the fireworks are scheduled so you can get a good spot.

In October I went up a bit early to get a front center spot (I am a shorty) on the outside deck and had a perfect view. The space gradually filled up but there is plenty of room on the outside deck. If you would like a seat and table inside I recommend getting there well before the scheduled fireworks. BLT is a great place. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have.

I agree, Bay Lake Tower is a great place! We stayed there over the summer and loved it but we were not on points for that trip! My next trip will be a mother/daughter trip and will be my first on points so want to be sure we get to the lounge at least once!
