Bus transportation question
Hello,
As you see for the dates in the sig we are about to make our first WDW trip in 4 years.
Could anyone please tell me if the bus from the resort goes directly to MK and not the TTC? I seem to remember the bus does and cuts out having to monorail or ferry from the TTC to MK.
Also if I remember buses run from the MK to the resort until the park is clear, even on EMH nights
We drive for convenience but if I can cut out the 30 minutes to an hour or so it takes to TTC/FERRY/MK we will bus to MK
Much thanks for any info.

Yes, the buses drop off right at MK. Just to the
East of the entrance. The transportation usually runs a minimum of one hour up to two hours after park closing.
Hope that helps.

Yes, resort buses go directly to the MK bus stop area. And buses will continue to run until the park is clear, even on EMH nights. "Clear" means that all guests have left the park. However, if you are among the last guests to leave, your bus may make several stops at other resorts along the way.

Oh how I love being dropped off right at MK with the bus system. Last year when I was in town for a conference, off site, I had to drive to MK and it was the first time in so many years that I had to take the tram from the parking lot. It does take a long time to get from outer parking to front gate.

Arriving to MK via bus will deliver you right at the front door of MK (skipping the TTC) as long as your are coming from a resort hotel.
However, if you arrive from another park (a "park hopping" bus) then you will be delivered to the TTC, not the MK. I learned that that hard way.

Yes - the bus will take you directly to MK from POR, and then will take you directly from MK back to POR. You will bypass the TTC. The busses will not go directly from "Park to Park" (like Epcot to MK). It only goes from "REsort to Park". So - you would only need to get to the TTC if you were coming from another park and then wanted to go to MK. So if you were at Epcot and wanted to hop over to MK, you would need to take the monorail over to MK. Hope that's not too confusing.

This applies only to Magic Kingdom. There ARE direct park-to-park buses amongst the other 3 theme parks. In fact, between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios you actually have 3 choices: bus between DHS and Epcot main entrance, and FriendShip boat or walk between DHS and Epcot's International Gateway entrance.
